"I'm sorry but I can't."

"You can't or you won't?" Noah raged.

"I mean I can't."

"Please he is my older brother, please please don't let him die. What kind of mate are you to let him die." Hazel begged.

It's because he is my mate that I do not wish to repeat of what happened. I do not want him to turn into a monster.

"I'm sorry..."

"What the fuck are you talking about? He is dying and this is your fault. He went back for you and now you are just going to turn your back on him." A pack member had yelled at me clenching his fist.

While they were busy bashing me, I was busy bleeding. Sure never mind the girl who was bleeding in the middle of the waiting room.

"Alpha Noah, did you see Marcus, did you see what I did to him. He was never like that, he was sweet and kind. He was a damn Alpha and look what turning him into a vampire did. He lost his sanity and he lost his wolf because of me."

"Are you talking about Alpha Marcus of the Blood pack." I looked shocked at another doctor who actually would know that piece of information considering not many know about Alpha Marcus of what had happened to him centuries ago. But judging by his appearance I'd say he is an elder. "Allow me to introduce myself my name is Bart."

"You know Marcus."

"No, only of him. Marcus he was already sick to begin with its just being a vampire probably strengthened that sickness."

Marcus, he was just like me, a hybrid at one point, the only difference is I didn't go on a killing spree, I didn't go insane, I kept my sanity in tack despite being one of them, a cold blooded leech. And I still have my wolf but as I recall he was sick. His mind was sick.

"What's to say that won't happened to Se...I mean Samuel."

"You are his mate and I can see you haven't marked him yet. Your bond is strong and you have to trust that plus Alpha Samuel isn't sick in the mind."

"And you expect me to just trust it." I will not allow that to happened. What if he forgets the mate bond or forget's me. Will he end up like Marcus in some way?

"Not necessarily..."

"And how do you know this?" Suddenly pain had reemerge and I had shrieked.

"Dad what's happening to her?" Hazel actually sounded worried.

The voices were become louder and I could feel myself loosing control.

Marcus he can't win, I won't let him win.

"No," the girl from earlier had shouted, "Sammy is mine, she can't mark him. I am his girl friend."

"Ava," Alpha Noah said sternly, "She just needs to make him better then you two can continue on with your relationship."

Even after his mate is standing here in front of him, he still chooses that girl for him.

"Amerie, what is happening?" Blood had pooled in my mouth.

"Nothing. It's nothing." Standing up straight I had masked my emotions.

"Then why are you standing in a pool of your own blood?" Bart asked.

"I'll heal, I'll heal." I chanted before looking back at them, "I'll do it."

I heard what Bart had said, if he is dying then I will save him and hopefully just hopefully he won't turn out like another Marcus.

I just hope I wont have to kill his wolf. Recalling when I had ripped out Marcus heart, he should have died instead I only killed his wolf. Who knew my blood made him like me unable to die sadly.

Slowly making my way into his room with a trail of blood from behind, I gazed at Seff who was pale and having a hard time breathing. His heart was beating really slowly.

"Seff." I called out to him, "Please don't leave me, Please don't forget me." My fingers trailed his necklace that hung around his neck. It's suppose to protect him, guide him how true that is, I don't know but only one way to find out.

Lowering myself into the crook of his neck, with a light pinch I had sunk my fangs into his skin piercing it. He had groaned out a bit and winced at the pain.

Removing myself, with the blood that was leaking from my wrists, I lifted it up to his lips. They were still warm as I felt his tongue sliding over it lowly sucking it, he moaned.

His hand shot up pressing my arm further into his mouth as I watch him slurp the blood around me.

The machines had beep, his heart had spiked, and his breathing had quickened.

Closing my eyes I had focus on his wolf, "Please Seff don't leave me." He was in pain, I had felt it. But he was my mate, and what ever pain he had felt I'd make sure to have to endure it.

More pain I thought.

After a few minutes he had opened his eyes, they were now red just like a vampire but soon it disappeared as they had darkened.

I smiled, Seff, seeing his wolf sprung forth. Slowly I watched him closed his eyes, his heart and breathing now stable.

Despite the pain I was in, Lau howled at our mate. Our mate who is possible even stronger that me. Damn it. Not that I mind but I would never submit even to him mate or not. It has always been like this for me.

Leaving the room I watch as everyone who is here had shuddered. They had sense their Alpha and the new power he held within after all they were linked.

Quietly I had left. Marcus was waiting for me as the voices were calling me out to him. The signals were strong but I had to be stronger.

While everyone was reveling in their own attributes I once again had dropped to my knees. My breathing now quivering. As I sluggishly walked away.
