Seff. I screamed in my head. What is he doing here? I wanted to scream at him for not listening to what I say.

"Sweet heart." Marcus once again brought me to his side. I felt gross and I wanted to rip out his heart for the second time if he had any.

"Amerie," Seff roared out my name basically ordering me to come to his side.

Instead I did the one thing I had to do, I kissed Marcus.

I refused to look at him but I couldn't take my eyes off of him. The hurt in his face was like a blow to my heart.

"See she is with me where she belongs. Now do as I say." Marcus smirked.

I watch the three of them, his father, Seff and his friend with a look of utter defeat.

"Come on son we have no more business here."

"Amerie are you telling me you chose him over me, your mate." His question hurt me but right now I needed him to understand. I needed to play by Marcus's games. I do hope he will understand.

"You, my mate. The gods made a mistake. I could never love a boy." I know my words hurt, it hurt me more to say it but I just had to.

What hurt me a lot is the look of expression on his face something he has never showed me, empty. It was like something it him had died and he was just empty.

"Fine. If that is what you wish." No, please don't go. Is what I wanted to say but kept my mouth shut.

This is for your safety. I need you alive Seff. I don't think I would be able to handle it if I had lost you again. His wolf however tried to contact Lau but Lau right now is deep within my mind just where I had put her.

Watching them, the three had turned on their heels, shifted and fled.

A few minutes later a howl was sounded. Seff. He sounded pain like someone was dying.

"You did very well sweet heart."

Turning to face him my hand went straight for his throat hoisting him up in the air as my other hand placed above his chest, "I could rip out your spleen and this time I'd make sure you stay dead."

He only laughed when the burning pain in my head had surface. This time it was deafening as blood had leaked out of my nose.

I dropped to my knees coughing up blood and holding my ears. The signals were booming and my ears are now bleeding.

"Ahhh.." I had screamed.

"Don't you ever cross me again." Marcus knelt beside me taunting me, laughing at me. Stupid collar.

I had tried to take the collar off of me when an electrical signal shot up in my brain. It was like my brain was being fried.

I growled at him letting him know I was still in control.

"Brenda, turn it up."

"You got it," The red head yelled back as my insides felt like it was boiling in acid.

"Marcus." I gritted, my fangs showing it self.

My eyes soon had become darker as Lau had sprout forward growling at the monster before me.

"Lau. My Lau, come to your master."

As if Lau would ever submit to anyone.

Baring my fangs I sprung forth at him, growling and biting. Lau was not herself and she knew it but would never allow herself to be controlled.
