Sea Breeze

Mermaid Splash

At the moment she was hit by magic and water Marie began to change. She fell to the ground on her back as her legs merged into a powerful tail and her clothes seemed to disappear. She was knocked breathless and as she sat up her hair fell over her front. She looked down, eyes widened, and screamed.

The boys both stared in shock for a long moment before Jamie began to laugh finding this whole situation oddly funny, "Look, look! Marie got the powers instead of me! Haha I'm free!"

Jamie began to dance in the water completely unaffected while Marie had stopped screaming and was now staring at her lower half in shock. Her tail had scales of every shade of pure blue imaginable. It shimmered in the light and as a rather powerful wave soaked it she felt the water and wind call to her. She wanted, no craved, to respond to it's calling. Her whole body was tense as she contemplated the pull of the sea. She contemplated if she fully frees herself from her humanly duties only to have mermaid ones forced upon her, or did she keep her human ones... her choice was tough indeed.

The brothers watched the female both with fascination and with horror. They'd just changed her life for better or worse and she'd not said anything but a scream yet.

The woman looked up calmly, "So is there anyway for me to change back?"

Her icy voice jolted both into an answer. Jamie shrugged and Aenon thought for a while, "Maybe if you dry off you'll change back."

She took his word for it and scooted herself back away from the water and rubbed the sand on her tail then off of it to dry. After she flicked it off surprising herself with the force of it a strange tingling sensation took over and she regained not only her clothes but her legs as well.

Marie began to laugh and stood up, with this maybe she could avoid both world's expectations. She turned her face to the sea's breeze and took a deep breath of it. The young woman began to smile, "We can work with this."
