The two of them stared curiously at Sue for a few moments before Aenon's tail changed back to legs. He stood up and glanced at the still clear azure sky reluctant to go indoors. As soon as Sue saw him stand she turned and headed towards the stairs leading up to the control room. Aenon blinked at the change to indoor lighting despite the large windows giving a view of the deck as they went up the stairs. Inside the room Marie was staring intently at the horizon with a slight frown on and hardly noticed them enter the room.

The window was open letting in the salty breeze that toyed with a single strand of her hair. She was standing directly in front of that window and staring out at the clear blue sky watching a single puffy white cloud drift swiftly over the horizon. Her thoughts had been so turbid for a while and now were strangely quiet. She jumped when Sue put her hand on her shoulder to tell her that she was there. Marie put her hand over her heart, "You jerk."

Sue giggled at her sister's surprised start, "No, you just weren't paying attention. Aren't you supposed to be driving this thing?"

Marie rolled her eyes at her sister's naivety, "It's on autopilot." She saw Sue's unconvinced look, "Yes that's a thing for cruise ships."

"Oh... well I brought lunch." She held up a basket and looked around for a place to sit.

Marie stared at the window once more, "Can we go eat outside on the balcony or decks? I want to be outside."

"Won't we crash or something?" Sue frowned.

Marie resisted rolling her eyes at her blonde sister and walked to the door the three had just entered from and lead the way to a balcony overlooking one of the decks. She sat down facing the ocean not only because she wanted to feel that salty, refreshing breeze on her face but to watch for anything that could cause trouble for the boat. She couldn't explain it, but she felt the need to be outside and feel the breeze.

It was that weird feeling like she'd suffocate if she couldn't be there and she felt like she needed something but couldn't put her finger on it. Her head felt fuzzy and she felt like she couldn't think. It was odd and it was really annoying her.

Sue could sense that her sister was out of it but didn't think much of it. Marie had been known to get like this growing up and her father had as well. Sue and her mom had just assumed that it was one of those things you inherit and can't explain it but they did know that whenever they got like that her dad would take her to the docks and ships to walk along the shore and it'd get better. Even though the sea breeze helped them get better Marie's dad never touched the water and he forbid her from touching it too, not that it ever stopped her whenever her dad and the guards weren't around.

Closing her eyes Marie took in a deep breath and tilted her head back to feel the sun. Sue rolled her eyes and distributed the sandwiches as well as the lemonade. Shell however, was curious. What could make her seem so off? The Marie he knew had always been either smiling or making fun of something or deep in thought, not out of it like this. Aenon didn't know what had gotten into her either, but he knew that she was feeling odd. He shrugged, she'd probably be fine again after a nap or something.

Sue looked around and noticed that they were all looking at Marie, "Hey what's wrong with you? You sure you're okay?"

Marie shrugged still having her eyes closed and face turned to the bright noon sun and clear blue skies, "Dunno, maybe..."

Sue pouted unconvinced, "Eat yur sandwich and we'll go for a swim in that salt water pool. I want to see your tail more up close."

Marie quietly ate still unsure of the cause of her affliction but craved salt. She licked her lips and looked through the basket, "Did you bring any salt?"
