Lullaby Splash

Marie slipped on a strapless bikini top with a silver seashell holding the cups together, Jamie had decided that it was the selling point of it for the irony, and flipped her hair back over her shoulder. Shell watched in a mixture of curiosity and lust for a few minutes before finally speaking over his shock, "Dude... was she just..."

"Shirtless? Yep, congrats, you've now seen naked breasts."

Shell breathed, "Sweet..."

Aenon looked at him in horror, "This is not the time to be lusting after some... some... human. I need to get my brother back and with a tail preferably."

Shell shrugged, "Relax, she's only human when she's dry so we'll just have to tell some guards that a mermaid isn't allowing you to get your brother then they'll come and drag them both back."

The dark haired merman gave his blue haired companion the are-you-serious look. Shell shrugged and Aenon sighed frustrated, "We can't and you know that. She somehow got his powers and we need to get them back."

Shell shrugged, "Or we could keep her here for ourselves and never tell another soul about the powers and we could flip a sand dollar to figure out who's kid she gets to have."

Aenon looked at his best friend disgusted causing him to laugh, "Warm up, let's just watch and see what they do for now. I doubt she'll even know how to swim with a tail."

Contrary to the mermen's expectations Marie quickly figured out how to swim with it but not how to work the gills on her neck, so she leaped like a dolphin taking breaths for Jamie's amusement. Shell whistled, "I will say though, that girl's got a fine tail. Almost as gorgeous as my own. You sure you don't want a fellow blue tail to go woo her?"

Aenon scowled as he examined his enemy, "No, I don't want you to go try to woo her. She'll probably just laugh you off and even if you do manage to  it's not like it'll help the situation any unless yo-..."

The green tailed merman cut himself off in mid-sentence causing his friend to smirk, "Welcome to my plan."

Aenon thought hard, "But what if she doesn't find either of us attractive?"

Shell laughed, "Between my robust manliness and your snarky fishliness she's bound to find one of us attractive. I mean look at us, if she likes buff muscles and denial you've got them, and if she likes lean hotties she's got me."

Aenon scowled harder, "I don't think this'll work. She's stubborn and human."

"I'm not pulling your fin, c'mone just try it, you might be surprised. Besides, if this works we'll have a mermaid and no merman can say no to that ultimate honor." Shell nudged his friend with his tail.

The unsure green eyed merman sighed, "We'll try it, but if this doesn't work we're doing it my way."

"And what way's that?"

"We'll drag them both through the water till they're begging for their powers to be switched back."

"Deal."

They shook hands and swam up on either side of the pair. Shell popped up on the rock behind Marie while Aenon sat on a rock near Jamie. The moment Marie saw the elder brother she positioned herself between him and his little brother, "I thought I told you to stay away."

"And I thought I told you you wouldn't be able to stay away from the ocean." Aenon smirked.

"No fair, you've got a head start." Shell whined causing Marie to whip around. He gave a lax surfer like smile as a lock of azure hair fell into his eyes matching his seashell necklace, "Hi, I'm Shell, a fellow blue like yourself."
