Kieran Tragella Sylvam, member of the Elven Council, was furious.
When he had been lost in the abyss called self-doubt, his beloved master had reached out to him.
His beloved master was the only one to understand him.
Where the others had called him gloomy, his beloved master had called him realistic.
If it weren't for his beloved master, he would have ended himself decades ago.
So he had decided to devote his everything to his beloved master.
Using the power his beloved master gave him, he would pave the way for his beloved master's entry into this world.
Using the gifts he received, he sowed the seeds of conflict, of chaos.
And yet, this damn demon.
Calling itself the 'demon king', it said it'd help.
Calling itself a 'servant of Lady Entropy', it claimed to be here at Lady Sylph's request.
Acknowledging this demon, this damn monster, but not him...
A deep-rooted hatred of Sylph lodged itself in Kieran's heart.
In just a few minutes, this so-called 'demon king' managed to calm down the conference room.
If that'd been all, it would've been fine.
After all, forcibly being suppressed by a monster would give birth to feelings of hatred and revenge.
And yet, and yet, and yet!
As if it wasn't enough to disturb Kieran's carefully thought-out plans this much, he planned to do more?!
Kieran's plan was perfect, and yet...!
His plan made perfect use of the fact that the drakonids would soon have to pass through the forest.
First, set up a pact with the treants in the area the drakonids would have to pass through, to force conflict.
Well, that pact would've been set up even without his interference, given a few years...
Then, get someone with a deep hatred of drakonids--Aelrie--into a position of power, to fan the flames.
Though, Vice President isn't exactly what he had in mind...
Keep himself in the background, by remaining a regular Council member rather than someone important, to avoid suspicion.
This part, at least, had succeeded in full.
Implant a single spirit, granted to him by his beloved master, into the forest that refuses to be tamed, to cause internal turmoil among his fellow elves.
From what he could tell, though, the spirit actually liked the demon, though he had no way of confirming this, for he'd lost the ability to see the things.
Like this, he could accelerate several decades of hostility into a few years, and cause an immediate war to break out...!
And yet!
And yet!
And yet!
Waving away questions with words such as "anyone who objects will be expelled" and "I believe you can do it, even if it'll prove difficult"!
Where is the demon getting that damn confidence from?!
It wouldn't be able to stand two seconds against the full might of the forest, even if it were to get its 'allies' to help!
