Chapter 40

"How nice of you, anong masamang hangin ang sumanib sa inyo para salubungin ako?" Tanong ko sa kanila matapos ang paconfetti nila sa akin.

I sat beside Even, nasa isang pabilog na couch kami ngayon. May mga alak sa harapan at ilang pulutan. What a nice view of welcome party.

"Si Even ang nagpapunta sa amin dito. Considered ba siya as a masamang hangin?" Tanong ni Calla sa akin.

I smirked. This girl is really mean. She don't know how to filter words. Naging kaklase ko ito noong third year college e. We became friends. Umuwi lang noong sinundo na nitong si Cuello.

I don't know the whole story because Calla is a very secretive one, but yeah unexpected things happen. We just can't figure it out when.

"You can say that," ngisi ko.

Isang hampas ang tumama sa braso ko. Nagtawanan ang lahat maliban kay Even na ang sama-sama ng tingin sa akin.

"YOU'RE SO MEAN!"

"Lower your voice, may jet lag pa ako." Natatawa kong sabi.

"So, how's life in US? Is he your boyfriend?" Tukoy ni Princess kay Farrell.

Oh, another thing. Princess is not my friend. We're just civil. But she insisted it. She said sorry a year ago. Right after Karl successfully drown her down with sweetness.

And since I'm moved on from everything. There's no need to hale past memories. So I just accept her proposal. We became friends, but not so close.

Tumigil sa pagkain si Farrell at kunot noong napatingin sa amin. "Bakit ba palagi na lang kayong ganiyan? I don't want her as my girlfriend. She's too sadistic."

"As if I also want you as my boyfriend. I don't want to have a all-time hungry boyfriend." Irap ko.

"See? She's so harsh for me. I prefer princesses than villains." Sagot nito.

"Ah, that explains why. Didn't she entertained any boys in US?" Tanong pa ni Princess kay Farrell na busy kumain ng fried chicken.

"Well guarded," ngisi nito.

Umikot ang mga mata ni Even, "I also asked that yet she just rolled her eyes. She's too boring."

"Definitely," Calla agreed.

Tumaas ang kilay ko. "Cuello, anong nagustuhan mo sa babaeng 'yan?" Tanong ko sa boyfriend niya.

"Wala, mismong siya." Sagot nito.

Agad naman siyang hinampas ni Even. "Nakakakilig ka, alam mo ba 'yon?!"

"Even," Zachary warned her.

"Sorry na, don't worry. ♪Ikaw pa rin, ang hanap ng pusong ligaw♪." Kanta nito sabay tawa.

"Ang corny, grabe. Mas maganda 'tong akin," Karl cleared his throat and face Princess who's now starting to frown.

"♪Princess ko, ang ganda ganda mo ngayon. Wala pa ring, kupas, ang ganda mo. Pag-ibig ko, ay para lamang sa'yo. Mahal kita, bukas, at kailanman.♪"

"Darn you, get out!" Sigaw ni Princess sa kaniya.

Nagtawanan na kami. "Huh? Bakit? Ang ganda ng version ko ng Pusong Ligaw."

"I said get out! My gosh! I don't have a crazy boyfriend."
