Chapter 7

Kayla's POV

     Finally! School's out! Not for summer but I wish. It's only out for the weekend. I get home to see Jack sitting on the couch. He shouldn't be home right now he should still be at school. I decide to throw a pillow at him so I do. "What are you doing home?" I ask him. "I had free period today so I came home early" he replied and continued watching tv. "That's allowed?" I ask as I put my bag away and sit on the couch next to him. "Yep" he said popping the p so it's really dramatic. "By the way mom said that we are going over to Harriet's house to meet her new neighbors. She said she wants you to wear shorts. That's what Harriet said your friends are wearing." Jack says looking as bored as ever. "Ok" I reply and walk to my room.

Iris' POV

     I head home and see Ava sitting on the couch watching tv. "Hey Ava. How was school?" I ask as I put my bag away. "Good. Mommy said that we are going to Harriet's house to meet her new neighbors and that Harriet wants all her friends to wear shorts." Ava says with that cute little grin she always has on. "Ok" I say as I sit on the couch next to her.

Paisley's POV

     I walk through the front door to hear giggles coming from the front room. I put my bag away and walk in there to see Rylie and Kylie playing with their toys. "Paisley" my mom says as she walks in. "Yeah mom" I reply as I sit down next to the twins to play with them. "We are going to Harriet's house for dinner to meet her new neighbors. She said she wants you to wear shorts." Mom said as she started doing the dishes. "Ok"

Serbrina's POV

     I walk through the door and head to my room. I put my bag away and walk out to the kitchen to see my mom doing the dishes. "Hey mom" I say as I sit at the counter. "Hi Serbrina. We are going to Harriet's house for dinner to meet her new neighbors. She said she wants you to wear shorts." "Ok" I reply and get off the barstool to see what pair of shorts I should wear.

Annie's POV

     I walk in the house and put my bag away. I then go to the living room and start watching Netflix. "Annie" mom says. "Yes mom?" I reply pausing the tv. "We are going over to the neighbors house for dinner to meet them. I already told Hayley. If you want to change you can." She says heading to the kitchen. "Ok" I reply and head to my room. I decide to change into a light grey tank top crop top with a cut out in the back. Cream high waisted floral shorts. My shoes are Janna Cutout booties. I put my hair is in a high bun.

Harriet's POV

     I get home and put my bag away. I make sure my room looks presentable and change into the outfit I had laid out earlier which was a blue shirt, blue jean short shorts, and my Birkenstock's. I get Hannah into a cute yellow dress. I put my hair into a ponytail and sit on the couch waiting for people to arrive.

Kayla's POV

     It's time to go so I decide to change into mint green tank top that says 'Love what you do. Do what you love🖤', blue jean short shorts, and mint green low top converse. I choose to put my hair in a ponytail. Mom, Dad, Jack, and I get in the car and head to Harriet's house. We get there and are the first ones there so we just hang out.

Iris' POV

     Mom said it's time to leave so I decide to change into a black and white striped crop top shirt, red high waisted shorts, and black sandal flip flops. I chose to leave my hair down. Mom, Dad, Ava, and I get in the car and go to Harriet's house. We get there and see Kayla and Jack sitting on the couch next to Harriet watching tv and watching Hannah. Ava and I join them and wait for everyone else to come.

Paisley's POV

     Mom says that it's time to go so I decide to change into pink T-shirt, blue jean short shorts, and Birkenstock's. I decide to put my hair in a ponytail. I help get Kylie and Rylie into their cute matching pink outfits, and then Mom, Dad, Rylie, Kylie, and I get in the car and head to Harriet's house. We get there and see that Jack, Kayla, Iris, and Ava are already there and watching tv so I join them while Rylie and Kylie try to play with Hannah.

Serbrina's POV

     It's time to go so I decide to change into a white crop top under blue jean shorts overalls, with my white low top converse. I decide to leave my hair down. Mom, Dad and I get in the car and head to Harriet's house. We get there and Jack, Kayla, Iris, Ava, Harriet, and Paisley are already sitting on the couch so I go join them.

Annie's POV

     It's time to go so we head over to the neighbors house. We knock on the door and I can't believe who I'm seeing at it.
