Annie's POV

"You will be partnered with..."

...Hayden" mrs. Belleza says and points to...my goodness I ran into him, and saw him at the park, wait, Paisley, Harriet, Kayla, Iris, and Serbrina told me he's bad news. I look at Harriet and Paisleys face and they both are looking at each other with 'uh oh' faces. "Ok" I say and look at Hayden with a slight smile. Hayden looks at me with a half smile. Not sure what that means but ok. "So class you and your partner are going to have to write a song and perform it in front of the whole school. You get to pick the genre and if who is singing it." the class groans in sync again, except me. I actually enjoy writing songs, singing songs, and performing them so this will be fun! "You will perform it on February 14 or as you all say, Valentine's Day." Mr. Donner says. The class groans again. Wow they really like to groan.
After chorus I head to Italian and we work on phrases. I'm doing pretty well learning Italian but then again, it has a lot of French in it so that helps. After language Paisley and I head to math.
"Ok so we have this project in chorus and it's with the general music class and we were partnered with one kid from that class and..." I kinda zoned out after that. Paisley just talks a lot and I have to get my work done. I keep working until I hear Iris say my name. "Yeah?" I say responding to her. "Who did you get partnered with?" Iris asks. "I got partnered with Hayden" I say and look back at my work. "Wait what?! He's in general music class?? I'm shocked. Wow" I giggle at her saying that. "Is it really that shocking?" I ask. "Yes. He's a star football player and star basketball player. Nobody who didn't know that would think that's not shocking." She says while I continue working on my work. "Ok. Ok. Chill I didn't know remember. I'm new" I say and start packing up since it is time to go.
In social studies we work on our project and end up finishing it so we get free time. I start working on the song for chorus even though I don't actually know what genre of music it's going to be. I'm writing a love song but I don't know what Hayden will want to write. I hope he's not as bad as they say.
