Chapter 16

Annie's POV

     I sit down and start working on our song. "Oh did you ask your mom about coming over tonight?" Hayden asks and grabs his guitar so he can start figuring out the notes. "Yeah. She said that we could if we did it at my house. Is that ok?" I ask and continue writing. "Yeah. That's fine." He says continuing to tune his guitar. "Ok." I continue writing until Mr. Donner and Mrs. Belleza calls everyone in the classroom. "Ok class. You all are doing great so far. Is there anyone who's having any trouble?" Mrs. Belleza asks. Nobody raises her hand. "Ok then class dismissed." Mr. Donner says and everyone heads out.
     Social studies comes and everyone has to present their projects. Everyone goes and thee are only two groups left. My group and I think his names Jake and his group. "Ok. Next is Hayden, Austin, Jax, Cameron, Jake, and Drake. They had a project on The Spanish Civil War." When Mr. Genial said each of the boys names I blushed when I heard Hayden's name and I think Harriet, Iris, Paisley, Kayla, and Serbrina blushed at some point too. The boys finish and Mr. Genial says "Alright and lastly we have Annie, Harriet, Iris, Paisley, Kayla, and Serbrina. They did a project on The French Revolution." We stand up with our poster and go up to the front of the class.
     After class Hayden and I head to each others lockers and then head outside we're both of our friend groups are waiting. "Annie why are you walking with Hayden?" Harriet asks. "He and I have to work on our project for chorus and general music at my house tonight." I say. We walk to everyone's house and finally Harriet and I get to our own houses.
     I put my key in the lock and open the door I walk in and let Hayden in behind me. I shut the door and lock it and as I do o hear a set of feet coming down the stairs. Oh boy. I'm either going to hear yelling or screeching. Let's see which one comes first. "Woah. Is that a boy?!" Hayley basically screeches out. "Yes but he's my partner for a project. Chill" I say and lead Hayden up to my room. I shut the door behind me and we work on the song together.

Harriet's POV

     I get home and say hi to Hannah and feed Harley. I then get on my phone and text the group chat:

Harriet🦄: Hey!
Paisley😝: Hey!
Iris🎻 : Hey!
Serbrina🐒: Hey
Kayla🏊🏻‍♀️: Hey
Harriet🦄: We need to discuss Annie's crush on Hayden. It seems to be growing by the second.
Iris🎻 : Yeah.
Paisley😝: I don't see what the problem is. If she has a crush on him and we have a crush on his friends then maybe if they start hanging out together more we could hangout more with his friends.
Kayla🏊🏻‍♀️: Paisley's right. What's the issue with that? I'm sure you would love to spend more time with Austin. Right Harriet?
Harriet🦄: Yea...
Kayla🏊🏻‍♀️: And Iris wouldn't you love to spend more time with Jax?
Iris🎻 : Yea...
Kayla🏊🏻‍♀️: And I would like to spend more time with Jake. And paisley wants to spend more time with Cameron and I'm sure Serbrina wants to spend more time with Drake.
Paisley😝: Yep!
Serbrina🐒: Then what's the problem?
Harriet🦄: Idk
Paisley😝: Then it's settled. It's ok for her to like Hayden!
Iris🎻 : Alright then.
After that I get working on my homework.
