Chapter 18

Annie's POV

Saturday! I wake up and get dressed into a grey pullover jacket with my initials monogrammed on it, black nike athletic leggings, and mint grey and white nike tennis shoes. I french braid my hair into a ponytail. I head downstairs and make myself a smoothie. "Annie" Hayley says as she comes downstairs. "Yeah?" I ask and drink my smoothie. "Can we go to the park?" She asks and puts some frozen pancakes on a plate and tries to put them in the microwave. I take the plate from her and put it in and heat the pancakes up for her. "Sure. When you're done with breakfast we can go." I say and she smiles.
After Hayley eats her breakfast, I grab my mini backpack and put in my camera and some film so I can take some photos if I see something worth photography. We head to the park and she says she wants to show me some cheers that she learned at school.
A little while after she tells me she wants me to teach her some gymnastics so I teach her how to do a back handspring. I spot her until she eventually does it without my help. I take some photos of her doing it. She eventually finds some friends so I sit on a bench and go through the photos I took.
About twenty minutes later I look up to see wear Hayley is and see Hayden and his sisters approaching the gate. He sees me and waves so I wave back. He sends Ocean, Paris, and Rosie to go play and he
comes over and sits next to me. "Hey. What are you doing here?" He asks. "I'm watching my sister and taking some photography photos." I say and look through my camera at little garden where the sun hits it just right. I take a couple pictures and look at Hayden who seems shocked. "What?" I ask and look at the pictures I took. "Can I see those pictures?" He asks. I nod and lean towards him to show him.

"Wow. Those are amazing. How do you do it?" He asks and I giggle at his shocked expression. I explain it to him and let him try.
About twenty minutes later Hayley comes over and gets in Hayden's shot. He takes the picture without thinking. "Oh shoot it's all blurry." He says as he looks at it. I take the camera and look at it. "Actually. It looks really good. Way better than me when I first started." I say and look at Hayley. "What's up?" I ask her. "I'm ready to go home." She says and sits next to me. "Alright. Just let me go say hi to Hayden's sisters and then we can go. Hayden will you put the camera back in my bag?" I ask. "Yeah." He says. I smile and walk over to where Paris, Rosie, and Ocean are. Ocean sees me first and runs over and hugs me. "Annie!!" She says and Paris and Rosie follow her. "Hi. How are you?" I say and hug them back. "Good." They all say and smile. I make conversation with them for a couple minutes and then tell them that I have to go. I hug them all one last time as request of Ocean and go back over to Hayley.
Once Hayley and I get home I go upstairs to my laptop and plug my camera into it. I look through the photos and decide which ones I want to get printed out. Once I do I go downstairs to find mom. "Mommy?" I say and sit on the barstool. "Yes Annie?" She says and gets back to cleaning the counter. "I took Hayley to the park this morning and took some photography shots and I was wondering if I could use your credit card to print some out?" I ask. "Um. Sure. My credit card should be in my wallet." She says and looks at me satisfied. "Ok. Thanks mommy!" I go to her purse and find her card. I head back to my room and put the ones I want printed in my cart and pay for it.
About an hour later I decide to do one more thing with the pictures. I grab one of my empty hard drives and put all of the pictures Hayden took on it so I can give him the pictures he took.
Two hours later I get a call from Harriet. "Hey Harriet. You do know I'm next door, right?" I ask and get back the computer. "I know. I need to tell you something. Can I come over?!" She says in excitement. "Um yeah sure." I start and she interrupts me. "Great. Have your door unlocked I'll be there in five!" She says and hangs up. Well that was weird. I say as I head downstairs to unlock the door.
Five minutes later Harriet is running through my door. "Woah. Easy girl. Chill" I say and shut and lock the door. "You will not believe what just happened!!" She says and runs upstairs. I run and follow her. "What do you mean?!" I ask. "Well..."

Oooo. What's Harriet going to tell Annie? I'm sorry it took so long to get this chapter out. Chapter 19 should come soon now that I'm on Christmas break. I'm also going to (hopefully) get the Christmas chapter out on Christmas. Which I better work fast since tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Anyways.
