Annie's POV

Recap:

Inside it is...

Currently:

...a bunch of roses, a box of chocolates, and a letter. What the heck. The letter reads:

Dearest Annie,

I miss you so much with every passing hour. I hope your Valentine's Day is going wonderful. My parents split over Christmas. My sister and father are currently in your town while mother and I stayed here in Paris. I miss my sister so much and wish my family were together. I miss you so much princess. ❤️

Love,
Your one and only

I gag at that. What the heck! I wasn't dating anyone in Paris. At least I don't think I was. What the heck! This is weird but thoughtful. And seriously. Why can't you put your name so I at least know who you are. Ugh!! Now I have to solve this mystery. Plus my other mystery. You remember how Hayden said I looked like something was worrying me? Well something was. I kept getting these mysterious messages from some unknown number. I still am. They're worrying me but I can't tell anyone. They said if I tell anyone about the messages they'd make sure my sister got hurt, Hayden got hurt, and my parents split up so I haven't told anyone and don't plan on telling anyone so that the ones I love don't get hurt.
I hear my parents walk in the door. I quickly hide the box and grab the roses. I'll just say they were on the porch without a letter. I grab the roses and run downstairs making sure to shut my door. "Hey mom. Hey dad. These roses were on the porch without a note." I say as I put the roses in a vase with water. "Do have any idea of who they would be from?" Dad says. "No." I say quickly giving Hayley and don't tell look and she quickly understands. "We'll get ready. We're going to the cafe." Mom says. I quickly go get my phone from my room and grab my shoes.
We get to the cafe and get a booth. Mom and dad sit on one side while Hayley and I sit on the other. We order and just talk for a while.
Once we eat and dad pays the bill we leave. "Hey Annie. Are you sure you don't know who those roses are from?" My dad asks as we get in the car. "I'm sure. There wasn't a name tag on it." I say. "Mmk" Hayley says. I kick her and she understands.
We get home and I decide to just go up to my room. I change into my pajamas and read for two hours until deciding to go to sleep.

Oh my goodness! I am so so so so so so so so so so so SO sorry that it took me this long to get this up! I have been really busy with school and just had no time. What did you think? Make sure you comment and vote by clicking the star below!
