Chapter 24

Annie's POV

     I wake up and get dressed into a maroon long sleeved shirt, black high waisted skinny jeans that are ripped at the knees, and black booties. "YOU'RE SO USELESS YOU CAN NEVER DO ANYTHING RIGHT. YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING FOR OUR GIRLS!!" I hear mom scream. Oh great. Today is the day they both have a day off. They'll probably kill each other in the next hour. I get around and then Hayley comes in my room with our bags and two apples. "They won't let me out of the house. Here's your bag and an apple. How do we get to school?" She asks handing me my stuff. "Finish the apple real quick and then give me a sec." I say. We both eat our apples. "Ok now I want you to throw both our bags out my window and once you do we have to race downstairs and run out the door." I say heading to the door. "Ready?" She asks. "Yeah." As I say that she throws both our bags out the window and quickly shuts and locks it I then open the door and we run downstairs and out the front door. "Thanks Annie. I would've been late." Hayley says grabbing our bags and handing me mine. "No problem HayHay. Now get to school it starts in ten minutes." I say.
I get to school a couple minutes before everyone else because there is still thirty minutes. Ugh. At least I'm out of the yelling filled house. I decide to text the group chat and see if they're up yet.

Hayden💙: Morning❤️
Austin💩: I'm tired
Harriet🦄: Me too
Annie💜: Well stop complaining. School starts in thirty minutes.
Austin💩: Oh shoot!! I gtg bye!
Harriet🦄: Seems like someone forgot to get up this morning.
Annie💜: 😂Ok well hurry up and get here. I'm already here and really bored.
Hayden💙: On my way right now!😘
Harriet🦄: PDA!!😂
Annie💜: Ok😂🙄 See you Hayden.

I get off my phone and head to my locker. I sit on the floor by it because like I said. I'm really bored. Soon enough Hayden walks in and comes over to me. "Hey Annie!" He says and helps me up off the ground. "Hey hay!" I say and we hug.
The day goes by really quickly sadly. Which means it's time to go home. Let's see if mom and dad killed each other yet.
I get home to find Hayley in her room doing her homework but crying while doing so and my parents are in they're room bickering. "Hayhay what's wrong?" I ask her. "Mom and dad are getting a divorce. And we're moving." She says. I hug her and say "Where are we moving to?" I ask. "Back to Paris. Apparently they just came down here to get divorced." She says. No I don't want to go back to Paris! I don't want to leave everyone! Ugh. Why can't my life for once go decent! Ugh! Great. "When are moving?" I ask. "After school ends." She says. Ugh.
