Ava was just about finishing up her coffee when the front door unlocked and her mother appeared. There was something oddly suspicious about her behavior considering that she was never really excited about anything. Her mother looked up and smiled when she noticed that Ava was watching her. "Mom, where'd you go?" Ava asked. "Ran a few errands" her mother answered as she walking towards her and took a seat at the table. "Oh". "Ava, do you have any plans for today?". "I don't think so, I was just planning on getting ahead on homework and maybe cleaning my room why?". "I'll some plans for you, come with me to the spa" her mother suggested. "What? A spa? why? Since when do you go to the spa?" Ava questioned as she cocked an eyebrow and looked at her. "Raven took me last week, and thought it would be fun if we all went, it's her treat, like an early birthday present". "Umm, what exactly would we do there?" Ava continued. "Relax, exfoliate, get a proper grooming, you know, to pamper ourselves" Ana explained with excitement. Ava's eyes widened and a small gasp escaped her lips. "Grooming? you mean like down there?". Ana chuckled at her daughter's response. "Yes, where else?". "Mom, what-what, why would I get that?"Ava asked still flabbergasted at the suggestion. "Sweetie, it's normal, you're a young woman now and deserve to treat yourself, try new things and become comfortable taking care of your body". "And besides, it's already paid for, so you have no other choice" she added and Ava slightly groaned. "Okay, fine, so when are we going?". "In an hour, so get dressed, but don't wear makeup, you're not gonna need it over there" Ana explained before getting up and walking out of the kitchen. 

After washing her mug and placing it in the cabinet, Ava went upstairs to get ready.

"Ugh, I'm gonna go lie down" Ava said and she slowly made her way to her room. Raven had asked for the 'full grooming package', which was extremely painful and very awkward for Ava. She did thank Raven for everything, besides the waxing, Ava quite enjoyed herself. "Make sure to put on loose clothing sweetie and take a shower" her mother reminded from the front door. 

Ava winced every step that she took and then groaned when she sat down on her bed. 'I don't even know why I would need this' she grumbled to herself as she rummaged through her drawers for loose sweatpants and a long sleeved shirt. She then went into the bathroom to turn on the water and took a much- desired half hour shower.

After slipping into her sleepwear, she decided to fix her room a bit, after all, It was only 10 or 11 pm. She was just in the middle of tidying up her desk when the phone began to ring. Immediately, Ava went to answer it, knowing damn well who it was. "Hello?". "Hello, how's my favorite girl doing?". In response, Ava groaned and then let out a hearty chuckle. "You're quite punny" she snickered and Jordan laughed on the other line. "Anyways, what's up?" she said, at the same time, a small yawn escaped her lips. "Nothing much, I'm at Donnie's, we were having a hangout and well, everybody fell asleep" he explained. "Oh, really? ". "Yeah, so what'd you do today?" he asked eagerly and her eyes widened in response. "Umm, nothing much just spent some quality time with my mother and a family friend". She answered nonchalantly."Oh really? that's cool" he responded. "Mhmmm". "How's everything going?" she asked as she nestled herself under the covers of her bed. "Great, so far we've got some good ideas to start from scratch". "Mmm that's great Jordan" she says and smiles. "Hey, you haven't seen us perform yet," he said with a small gasp. "Need I remind you of your amusing introductions the night you told me you were a new kid" Ava recalled and smiled. "Yeah, but-" Jordan said but she interrupted. "And your few small serenades". "I'll never forget the day you decided to be spontaneous and sang to me while playing the piano. It felt like a dream, like from a movie".
