Jordan was furious, jealousy was an understatement. Now he knew what it felt like from the other end of the spectrum and he hated it. Upon their eyes meeting for a brief moment, he felt like Ava wanted him to see her give affection to another man. "C'mon man" Joey insisted noticing that as each second passed, his friend's anger increased. Finally, Jordan forced himself to look away and continued to walk back to the car. Joey let out a sigh of relief and followed behind. Joey knew that Jordan still loved her. There was no doubt about that.

Jordan walked at a quick pace to make it back to his car. "Why won't this shit open" he angrily said as he fumbled with his car keys to unlock the car. " J, are you sure you're gonna be ok?" Joey asked as he watched him struggle. "I'll be fine Joe" Jordan said finally getting the door open and slipping into the driver's seat. "Drive safe J" Joey said before patting his shoulder and walking away.

Jordan couldn't think, he didn't know what to do. He wanted to be with Ava and confront her. He wanted to ask her what she was doing, but he knew he had no right.

'What if she is seeing somebody else?' he wondered as the grip on the steering wheel seemed to tighten with everybody minute that passed. The thought of that infuriated, but at the same time, broke him. Frustrated, Jordan got out of the vehicle to check the trunk for something he hoped to have. Upon opening it, a large black duffle bag sat at the very end. Jordan placed the bag into the backseat for easy access then slipped into the driver's seat and drove away.

It was almost 9 pm, when Jordan pulled into a semi crowded parking lot. The night sky hung over him like a blanket as he grabbed the duffle bag and hoisted it over his shoulder. Looking up at the building, a sign with '24 hours' flashed above, he didn't know how long he was going to be there. Pulling out his wallet, he slid a plastic card to gain access to the big door inside the lobby. He let out a sigh of relief when he noticed that most of the people had left, meaning he'd get the entire weight room almost to himself. He went to the men's locker room to change into his gym clothes and started off on the treadmill located at the end of the room. Jordan set it to a moderate setting before pulling out his phone to choose a song.

'Unfinished' from his most recent album began to play. Ava popped into his mind, as his voice blared through the headphones. Within a minute, his breath became heavier, Jordan's legs stopping at nothing to complete the mile. He felt as if he was chasing something, something that wasn't there. His own lyrics egging him on as the possibility of Ava and his story remaining unwritten crossed his mind.

Could it be that their story was unfinished? Maybe it was written halfway? Maybe it had an ending ? Maybe it had a trilogy? Either way, Jordan hoped that the book had not closed yet. He still had so many questions and he intended on getting the answers.

Beads of sweat covered his neck and forehead as he did another pull up. The veins in his arm protruding through his skin as he used his upper body to lift his torso. Groans of pain and exhaustion erupted from him as he was close to finishing his last set. After that, he picked up heavy weights and worked out his arms. He had done a fair share of sets containing different muscles but he wanted to break a sweat a little longer. Until the bones inside his skin, ached more than his heart.

After about 2 hours, Jordan was drenched in sweat that he had to take off his shirt. It rested on his shoulder as he tried to catch his breath. He could hear his heartbeat pounding within the lonely walls of the gym. Beads of moisture dripped off his lips and neck as he closed his eyes and placed his hands behind his neck. His few minutes of relaxation were cut short when the sound of ringing filled his ears. Letting out a sigh of annoyance, Jordan looked to see who it was.
