Ava sat content as she rested her head on Jordan's chest, his arms were wrapped around her as she was situated between his legs. "This is such a great night" Jordan spoke as he fiddled with her hand. "Agreed" she answered and smiled. "You wanna repeat what you said," he said and kissed the back of her head, softly inhaling the sweet scent of her coconut shampoo. "What did I say?" she asked, knowing damn well what he was referring to. "Ava" he whined making her chuckle. "Or we could repeat what just happened to jog your memory" he playfully suggested and she shook her head while laughing. "Oh my gosh, I just remembered " she announced making him pout. She turned her head to look at him, there was a pure gleam in his eyes that cause a change of rate in her heart. "That I love you?" she said with a heartfelt smile plastered on her lips. "You telling me or asking me?" he teased. " Telling you, silly" she answered. Jordan waited for her to continue.

"I love you Jordan".

Jordan only smiled and leaned in to give her a loving peck, content with the confirmation that Ava finally admitted that she loved him too.

Both were happy since good terms were reestablished. Ava sighed loudly as Jordan drove them back to her house, her mind was still fuzzy but not as tormented as before. "Something wrong sweetheart?" he spoke as his hands remained on the wheel. "Hmm no," she answered nonchalantly. Her mind wanders off to their mildly heated moment back at his place, a small blush creeping onto her cheeks. "Jordan" she said and paused waiting for him to answer. "Yes, baby?". "No never mind" she replied but he insisted for her to speak. "I'll park this car right now until you do " he playfully threatened, making her gasp. "Fine, ugh I just wanted to tell you, that I'm sorry if I act up like this, it's in my nature and I never meant to hurt you or worry you," she said and then let out a huge breath that he had been holding in. "There's no need to apologize, baby, I understand that I'm your first boyfriend, there's always a first for everything, you just need to trust me ok?" he spoke in such an utter sweet tone that made softness disperse all over her body.

"I trust you Jordan".

Ava had a dumbfounded smile on her face after Jordan kissed her goodnight. She felt like she was floating in the clouds, every time she was reminded that Jordan was her beau. Her first boyfriend, the boyfriend that every girl must dream of. "Goodnight Ava," he said as she closed the door behind her. Jordan wanted to walk her to her front porch but Ava kindly declined, telling him that it was completely fine. "Goodnight Jordan" she responded sweetly. Jordan made sure that she was safe and sound inside before pulling out and drove away.

☁︎ FEBRUARY-MARCH- the year 1992 -Boston Massachusetts☁︎

Throughout the past 2 months, Ava had been very focused on her education, her days consisted of subtle assignments and important papers. She had been speaking to her counselor frequently about classes she needs to take and the educational plan that was established at the beginning of the semester. The counselor informed her that she was currently on the right path to success so far. Her grades were healthy, as was her reputation at school. She didn't necessarily consider herself the teacher's pet, but she was a rather respectful and punctual student. Her education was very important to her and she intended to strive far in life. Going to school and working was not the easiest thing to do, but Ava didn't mind it. Both seemed to keep her mind busy, missing Jordan was not really an issue when she was occupied most of the time. Work was not as bad as she thought it would be, Marie gave her the position to restock and organize the shelves. Sometimes, organizing the compact cd's by genre or alphabetically. Marie often praised Ava for her work performance and Ava only thanked her, feeling rather modest. Tayler was never around when Ava was working, but she somehow ended up inside the shop when she claimed that she wouldn't be able to make it for a work shift. Ava's delicate appearance made her seem approachable, which was most times annoying. Sometimes, there would be young guys trying to spark up a conversation with Ava to which she kindly declined since she began to pick up their intentions. Ava was a fair person and her heart belonged to Jordan and Jordan only.
