"He what?" Jordan asked as he looked at her for clarification. "He still loves me, I don't know Jordan and I honestly don't care" Ava responded and crossed her arms over her chest. "Do you love him?" He asked, her mouth dropped agape. "No, I don't, know, what does that have to do with anything?" She said she felt annoyed with all this interrogation. "Why do you care anyways? You're married" she scoffed and then added " don't answer that". Ava sighed in annoyance and remained silent for a few seconds before speaking again. "I don't think I'll be able to book another room without my wallet, so can I please crash here for tonight?". "Ava- " he began and smiled, " you don't even have to ask, you can stay here as long as you want". "Thanks, I appreciate it" she answered and took a few steps away from him.

Jordan found it extremely unfair how he had the woman he had loved most in his life so close but despite the proximity, couldn't be with her. Couldn't hold her. Couldn't love her the way she deserved to be loved.

"I won't be a bother, I'll be gone by the morning" she reassured him. "I'm not asking you to leave, you can stay as long as you need to" he repeated almost immediately.

"Thank you Jordan"

"So what's next? Are you hungry, do you want to watch a movie ?" Jordan said as they sat face to face. "No, I just want to be alone" she admitted and stood up to make her way over to the balcony. His eyes never leaving her as she walked out the heavy glass doors leading to a huge open space. He debated following behind but went against his impulse to do so. Jordan didn't know why every time he had Ava close, he had to be with her. As if he was scared she was going to disappear all over again.

Meanwhile, Ava sat on a small leather couch near the edge of the balcony. She sat in silence gazing at the city lights below her. Her heart was currently in her throat, feeling trapped but oh so overwhelmed with the situation. One part of her wanted to jump off this ledge and take off running without Jordan knowing and the other side, wanted to give into him.

Her mind drifted.

"You trust me, don't you?" Jordan softly questioned, tucking a loose piece of hair strand behind her ear. Ava looked into his eyes, falling into a trance, it was still so scary how fast she had fallen for him. Part of her wanted to just relish in his endless pit of love and the other wanted to warn her about the consequences of giving everything to a person. "I do," she answered softly while nodding. "Don't even for a second, doubt my feelings for you, they're real, they're here but you can't see them, only I can feel them, only I know what you do to me" Jordan finished.

**Flashback over**

Ava shook her head feeling frustrated that she tends to reminisce the best time in her life. The time where Jordan was her first and only love. The worst part being, is that he was there with her, whether she liked it or not. The longing of the past making her want to relive it.It was dangerous game that she was playing.

"I'm glad you're smilin' , I missed seeing you like this" a soft yet raspy voice threw her off guard. She turned around, her smile fading away in the process.

'Is there even any way of denying the possibilities tonight?' she wondered.

Upon noticing his attire, which was plain white tee and gray loose sweatpants. The print of his dick was visible and there was no denying that he wasn't wearing any underwear underneath. She felt desire grown within her but tried her best to contain it. It was her body talking, not her mind.
