"Ugh she's so pretty" Corbyn states as he stares across the lunchroom at his crush, Isabelle.

"Corbyn she's your girlfriend. Just go up to her and tell her." His best and only friend Jonah tells him the others will come later just you wait

"Oh yeah"

"You're an idiot" Jonah slaps the back of Corbyns head as Corbyn winces

"Ow Jonah that hurt"

"You're weak"

Corbyn rolls his eyes and gets up to throw his trash away

"Hey Corbyn I missed you yesterday. You were supposed to come over" Isabelle tells Corbyn seeing him at the trash can

"I'm sorry I had therapy"

"Oh it's okay can you come over today? I can bring you home from school."

"Yes please but can we go to my house I want to show you something I got it's really cool"

"Okay well if it's really cool then sure, I'm going to go get my stuff and then I'll be at your table to walk with you to English"

"Okay I love you"

"I love you too"

They both walk to their separate tables and Isabelle gets her bags and leaves but not without question from her friends

"Where are you going" her friend Jennifer asks

"To see Corbyn"

"Ew you're still dating that loser" her other friend Maya asks

"He's not a loser"

"Everyone else in the school doesn't agree"

"What even makes him a loser"

"He has problems. He doesn't talk to anyone but that one kid Jordan-"

"-Jonah"

"Whatever he's irrelevant anyways Corbyn talks to himself, and he wears bow ties and fancy clothes"

"That's what he likes to wear"

"Whatever I'm telling you if you keep dating that kid all this popularity you have will be gone"

"I don't care about stupid 'popularity' I care about him. We've been together for 3 years I'm not just going to break up with him to stay 'popular' and if you guys have a problem with it then don't be my friend" and with that Isabelle left leaving her "friends" speechless

"Heyyyy" Isabelle says sitting down next to Corbyn

"Hi" Corbyn responded sadly

"Why are you so sad"

"I got a 20 on my quiz"

Corbyn starts to cry but Isabelle quickly pulls him in a hug

"Are you sure it's a 20" she says stroking the top of his hair

"Ye-yeah"

"Let's check again"

Isabelle takes Corbyns phone and goes the school website to check his grade

"Hey Corbyn"

"Yeah"

"How many questions were on that quiz"

"How am I supposed to know"

"Hey don't yell at me I'm just trying to help okay"

"I'm sorry"

"It's okay now it looks like you didn't get a 20/100 you got a 20/15"

"Huh?"

"Babe, you got a 105 look" she shows Corbyn her phone

"Oh I did oops. Ugh I'm such a nerd. Crying over my grades"

"So what. I once cried when I got a 95 on a test"

"Im sorry to interrupt but you cried cause you got a 95?" Jonah asks

"What I only get 100s"

"And how are you popular"

"Jonah don't use the P word" Corbyn tells Jonah

"Oh shut up"

"Hey stop being so mean to me" Corbyn pouts

"You know I'm joking Corbs. I love you"

"Ugh whatever"
