"I'm so excited for you to meet him and Jack and Zach" Corbyn tells Isabelle when his mom drops them off at Daniels house

Corbyn helps Isabelle out of the car and they walk up to his house

"Hey Corbyn come in and who's this" Daniel says opening the door letting Corbyn and Isabelle walk in his house

"This is Isabelle my girlfriend"

"Oh cool well hi Isabelle nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you"

They hug and Daniel leads them to the table where Jack and Zach are already sitting reading old magazines

He tells them to sit down and choose a magazine while he makes a snack

"Hey Corbyn" Jack says when he notices him sitting

"Hi"

"Zach say hi" Jack says nudging his brother in the side

"I-I don't want to. She's scary"

"Zach she's just my girlfriend"

"I don't care she's scaring me"

"What am I doing" Isabelle asks confused

"You're too pretty. You look like Jessica"

"Who's Jessica?"

"A girl who bullies me."

"Oh well I promise I'm nice"

"Are you sure"

"Yeah"

"Okay hi" Zach says with a smile

Soon enough Daniel comes into the dining room with pizza

"Who's ready to read" he says very happy

He sits down and takes out a small chapter book

"Today we're going to try to read something bigger. The words are a little smaller so it may be harder to read. I'm going to read the first page, then Corbyn, then Jack, and then Zach"

Daniel hands out five books one to each boy, Isabelle, and keeps one for himself

"Okay so let's start"

Daniel starts reading the story and all three boys get nervous

He finishes his page and it's Corbyn's turn

"What if I don't like the story"

"You keep reading it"

Hesitantly, Corbyn starts reading the story btw im just writing random words not really a story

"He... wrote down... how he want to no wanted to feel. No one un-under.. understands" he says slowly

As he continues down the page his speed gets faster and he understands what he's reading. He gets to the end of the page happy with what he read

"Wow Corbyn that was amazing. Next time let's work on getting the words correctly the first time. You only did it 6 times but that's okay. Jack your turn"

One chapter later and they are all done with the session. Corbyn doesn't read as bad as Jack and Zach but that makes sense because of his age.

"That was amazing guys. I want you to take this book home and read the next two chapters. After each chapter write a small summary on it. Okay that's all"  

"So more homework on top of school how fun" Zach says voice sarcastic

"It's only two chapters and they're small it's not that much"

"Homework is homework"
