It's been a month since Isabelle has been in the hospital and the only people who have come to see her have been Corbyn and her dad.

For some reason, her mom hasn't and she feels really bad about it

Corbyn had to go home for school the next day so now it's just her and her dad

For the past month, all she's been getting is hospital food and it's disgusting. she is constantly complaining about it to her dad so he brought her some spaghetti from her favorite Italian restaurant

"I haven't had good food in so long thank you for bringing this to me"

"Anything to make you feel better. I actually took two months out of work so I can be here for you. How about I do this once a week."

"You don't have to really."

"But I want you to feel better"

"And I do feel better. You and Corbyn have been helping me a lot. I wish mom could be here though"

"I'm sorry about that. It's hard for her to see you in the hospital. I think hospitals remind her of your brother"

"I miss Ian"

"We all do. It's a shame what happened"

"So you think me being in the hospital reminds her of when he got in the accident?"

"Basically."

"Oh"

Isabelle's older brother Ian got arrested when she was 8. It was his 21st birthday and he drank way too much and got into a car accident with him as the driver.

He was with a few other people and they all got killed but he remained alive. He went to the hospital with a broken arm and when he was better right as he stepped out of the hospital the police were there and took him for the murder of 4 people under the influence of alcohol.

He only has a year and three months left in jail and she is super excited to see him again it's been 10 years

"But I still want her to see me once"

"I will talk to her okay."

"Okay Thank you"

"Do you want me to stay here tonight"

"No you can go home I want you to talk to mom as soon as you can"

"I'll leave once you finish eating"

She looks down at her plate and sees a lot more pasta left

"There's too much"

"Well, you need to eat. You are way too skinny"

"You're literally grandma"

He laughs and smiles a little bit

"She's been asking about you. She wants to come visit. In fact, everyone misses you"

"Tell everyone to show up"

"I'll get on that" he laughs lowly kisses her forehead

"I should get going now. Visiting hours are ending soon"

"Oh okay thank you for coming today"

"Of course I'll be here tomorrow morning"

"You don't have to be here so early I actually want to sleep in tomorrow morning. It'd be better if you came after lunch"

"I'll come at whatever time you want me too"

Her dad leaves the hospital and she tries to get some rest

Right before she drifts off her room door opens

She opens her eyes and sees her doctor

Her doctor is 25 and really attractive. For the past month, they've been getting close and are best friends.

"You're getting better," he tells her looking at her blood levels

"Do you think my concussion is healing faster"

"Oh definitely keep resting and you'll be completely healthy in 3 months. Maybe you'll be released early"

"That would be amazing. Except we wouldn't be able to see each other anymore"

"Oh no that would be awful" he sarcastically says

"I know then we couldn't have any more of our medicine dates"

"Not our medicine dates"

"I KNOW"

"Well I have to go home now I have an actual date tonight"

"Don't let me keep you waiting go and get some tonight"

"Oh god I'm not having sex on the first date"

"I didn't say you were you just assumed," she says shrugging her shoulders

"Okay, I'm leaving I can't deal with any more of you tonight."

"That hurts" she sarcastically says clutching her heart

"Good night Isabelle"

"Good night don't get her pregnant byeeeee," she says as he leaves the room

Shaking his head he leaves with a permanent smile

If she wasn't underage he would've asked her out it's undeniable that she is beautiful but she is just too young for him.

Back in her room she finally gets the rest she needs and deserves
