When Dean's alarm goes off at 5am, he groans and slaps his clock. Immediately, he notices the lack of warmth from another person beside him and looks around, weary-eyed, not seeing Cas.

However, he hears the sound of a door closing and looks to his left, seeing him emerge from his walk-in wardrobe, a towel wrapped around him.

"You better not be dripping water all over my carpet." Dean mumbles sarcastically, sitting up in his bed and rubbing his eyes.

"I'm not." Castiel insists, although looking back at his path unsurely.

"Excited for your first day at work then." Dean murmurs, eyeing up 05:04am on his clock. He winces as Cas shakes his head side to side, stripping his hair of any water.

"You bet." Cas answers, dabbing himself all over with a towel.

Dean doesn't bother to respond and rather gets up himself to shower. He's like a zombie, treading to the bathroom in his boxer shorts.

The humid room bursts warm air at him but he mopes on through into the shower, almost slipping from the wet trail Cas has indeed left. He strips, switching on the water, pressing his head to one of the glass shower walls that's covered in condensation.

He almost falls asleep, until the roaring of a hair dryer wakes him up, forcing him to bash his head against the wall. Wiping his hand over the shower door, he can see Cas with the loud hair styling item in front of the mirror. He then goes at it with an unusually loud electronic toothbrush, it buzzing around his mouth for about 5 minutes. Take it this way, Dean can hear it over his shower running He rolls his eyes, making a mental note to remove any electronical things from Cas' reach this early in the morning.

When he's finished in the shower, he walks back into his bedroom. Castiel is already dressed in the clothes they ironed together yesterday, his face beaming with excitement. Dean notes the way he looks at him, happy at the sight of him shirtless with a towel around his waist, beads of water dripping down his body.

"You look good." Dean says, not being able to hide a smile.

Castiel does, of course. But it's the excitement and happiness radiating from him that makes him look even better. For the first time in a while, Dean's looking forward to work.

"Are you sure?" Cas asks, looking down at himself. "I feel silly."

"Dean scoffs, sitting back on his bed drying himself. "Why do you feel silly?"

"I've never had to wear this sorta stuff, this is from school." He laughs at himself, straightening his arms and seeing the way the sleeves roll up his arm.

"We can go shopping next weekend if you'd like?" Dean suggests. "I know some good places."

Cas grins at him. "Of course! You can be my personal shopper."

As they stand in the elevator, Dean can't help but smile in Cas' direction, seeing the way he bounces foot to foot.

The doors open on their work floor and Cas' face lights up. He's eager to peer around his new surroundings and almost gapes. "It's huge."

"Thanks." Dean gives him a childish grin, peeking down to Cas. "You're pretty well-endowed down there too."

Castiel digs his elbow into him. "I meant the room."

They both snigger, but Dean wipes his away quickly as colleagues begin to look their way. "Let's go to my office."

He gets a nod as an answer and begins to walk Cas to his office. He punches the number in and opens the handle.

"You get to be in here?" Cas asks, looking even more surprised.
