Mel's POV:
I hear the front door open and close, and the sound of someone sighing. But not just any person sighing, it was Cameron. I've heard that sigh about a million times in my life to recognize it instantly.
A flashback of what I saw earlier in the hallways comes back to me and I burry my head under the pillow, trying to keep myself from crying again.
I could hear him coming up the stairs, my heart skipped a beat with each step he took, it slowly begins pounding louder and louder in my ears. I take a shaky breath and hastily get back to my homework as I hear the door knob rattle a bit before slowly turning over until the click of the lock sounds.
I stare at the computer screen, completely focused on the sound of the door squeeking open annoyingly, as if it hasn't been oiled in years. I hear him sigh and slowly make his way in front of me where he sits down, I then decide to look up at him. "Hey Cam, home already?" Plasters a fake smile on my face, pretending as if I'm ok, as if I didn't see him making out with that bitch.
He searches my eyes with worry, before saying, "I know you saw her kiss me, but-" I interrupt him, by slamming my laptop lid closed.
"It doesn't matter, you do what you want with your life, Cameron," I say coldly, glaring at the wall."I didn't kiss her. She isn't the girl I want," he says, staring into my eyes.
Great now I'm confused again.
Cameron's POV:
I push Jessica off me and walk to my locker. Taylor, that ass who kissed Melissa comes up to me, glaring. I snap, clearly annoyed, "what do you want, fuck face? Come to fuck with Mel's heart even more?"
He looks taken aback but quickly recovers, glaring. "No, I came to say that this time you're the one who hurt her," he smirks beginning to walk away.
I snap out of my confused state and ask, "what do you mean, Taylor?"
He keeps his back to me, flipping me off as he walks down the not so crowded hallways. He turns his head shouting, "She saw you and the bitch kiss, Einstein. She loves you," then he disappears.
I rush home and sigh in relief when I see she's here. I begin making my way upstairs slowly and nervously. I slowly pushes open the door and am shocked at her amazing room, taking it all in then my eyes settle on her, working on her laptop, her back to me. I know she knows I'm there cuz she just stares at the empty screen.
Since she hasn't shouted at me to get out yet, I decide to take a seat in front of her on the bed. I search her eyes worried as she fake smiles. I know her well enough by now to know when she hides her feelings.
I guess Taylor wasn't lying, she saw Jessica kiss me. "I know you saw her kiss me, but-" she interrupts me, by slamming her laptop lid closed.
"It doesn't matter, you do what you want with your life, Cameron," she says coldly, glaring at the wall."I didn't kiss her. She isn't the girl I want," I say before I can stop myself....
