Mel's POV:
We stop laughing and stare intensely into each others eyes, his hands resting on my waist, mine around his neck. And then, it happens...
He slowly leans down and connects our lips together, in a soft and gentle kiss. Nothing like that rough kiss me and Taylor had in the hospital. This kiss was different, this kiss had feeling. This kiss spoke so many feelings we were too scared to say...
I reach up on my tippy toes and deepen the kiss, feeling a hum of approval against my lips.
We continue our little make out until our lungs scream for air and we pull apart. Cameron rests his forehead against mine, staring intensely into my eyes, we're both breathing really heavy as if we ran a marathon. I smile and look at his swollen lips, biting my own as i blush.
Cameron breaks the silence first, "wow... I've been dreaming of doing that forever and all I can say is it's better than I could ever imagine." I blush and smile, staying silent as he continues, "I love you, Mel. I always have."
My voice is barely a whisper as I say, "I love you too, Cam." I lean up and kiss him again and he instantly kisses back. Our lips move in perfect harmony.
We pull away and Cameron smiles, nervously, which earns a questioning look from me. He takes a deep breath and speaks, "Mel, will you be my girlfriend...?"
I nod, smiling brightly, hugging him tight as i begin squeeling and shouting yes over and over again. Cameron chuckles and holds me in his arms, we stare into each other's eyes, lost in them.
And we stay like that for awhile...
