THE PROPHECY LOOMED over the Mikaelsons concerns, worrying how it was possible for them to prevent the end of their family and it was by figuring out who was capable of betraying them. A family, friend or foe was capable of it all, the end of the Mikaelsons. Esme didn't know what to think about it, that there was an end to the Mikaelsons who had been on earth of a millennial, she questioned if the world knew anything without the Mikaelsons, she knew she wouldn't.

Her concern was on the beloved children that she hoped to grow with the strong presences of their family. Esme lost her family and the Mikaelsons were all that Isaac had. The little baby boy, still growing seemingly quickly was lifted out of his navy painted cot to rest in the arms of his mother while kicking his legs with slight excitement of finally escaping his bed.

Esme managed to forge a smile on her lips, but clouding over her thoughts was the prophecy and how she was to help the only family she had. While resting Isaac onto her hip as he gripped onto a loose strand of her hair she begun her direction to the living room where Elijah and Klaus hung. Unlike Elijah, Klaus was rather calm with the prophecy, he still believed he was immortal and invincible that any danger that came their way would've been prevented by his hand.

His was deep in story-telling, recalling the years spent with the first people that they turned, way before he had met Esme. The story was neglected from the Browne who strode into the room with written concern plastered on her face. Silence filled the room, and eyes narrowed on her as she rubbed Isaac's back to keep him from squirming too much in her hold.

"What are you talking about?" Esme questioned aware that she had walked into a conversation between the brothers. "The prophecy? Lucien?" She knew she was never going to grow to like the Castle, he to her, was rather strange and his sudden appearance in New Orleans brought her concern.

"Who qualifies as both friend and foe, and according to Freya's prophecy-."

Elijah was quick to interrupt his brother knowing that there was someone else for them to worry about. "You have to beware of both friend and foe, but let us not forget family, Niklaus." He reminded while strolling closer towards the hybrid who was rested at the desk.

But Klaus couldn't imagine what family was capable of betraying them. "Lucien's two out of three. I say we put him down, just like old times."

Elijah's brows raised as Esme sighed heavily. "Just like old times? Brother, I wonder who among our family, do you suppose has the greatest predilection for betrayal."
