KOL'S DEATH WITHIN the warlock's body over a year ago, had been by cause of Finn Mikaelson, who was believed to be dead and the only thing left of him was the spirit only Freya had contact with via the pendant she wore around her neck. So, it had brought Esme, Oscar and Elijah to their confusion when the youngest of the brothers had exclaimed that Finn was very well breathing, and alive enough for Kol to have been the one to see him. The reason why those questioned what Kol had seen was because had just been resurrected from the dead, and some spells had some side effects. So, the thought of seeing Finn could've just been a side effect.

If it was true, Finn was a problem Esme and Elijah knew that they didn't need that it was for the better if Finn remained dead during their time of troubles and encountering Klaus' enemies as it had been happening over the past couple of days since the hybrid left alongside Hayley and the children. Finn couldn't be an added problem.

And Esme wasn't so sure as to what she would do when her eyes were to lay on Finn Mikaelson. Was she to hold in her anger or unleash it onto the man who had been rather devoted to Esther, with thought of killing her, Isaac and Hope as soon as he had found out that they were alive? It was for the better if Finn was a fixation of Kol's imagination and not actually walking the streets of New Orleans.

Kol had paced before his family as Elijah couldn't help but question what his brother had seen. "Are you quite sure?" He asked.

Kol's brows had arched as he had been shocked with the doubt Elijah had. "I saw him with my own eyes." He exclaimed while stalking forward to his brother suited up. "Finn must have come back when Davina resurrected me. The spell was tied to the blood of the Mikaelson line. Either it worked on him, or he found a way to hijack it. Either way, the only 'how' I care about right now is how long I'm going to make him suffer before I kill him."

"Kol," Esme called after the boy, immediately rising from her space on the couch within the room he had been ready to make an exit out of. "let's have some restraint."

"Why?" Kol questioned as he turned back to look at the Browne. "Finn is clearly the one spreading rumours about missing white oak. He's luring Nik's enemies out of the woodwork. It's all part of his tedious revenge fantasy."

Freya had been eavesdropping on the conversation, and for as long as she had been listening she had been waiting to intervene in defence of her brother who favoured her more and treated her far different than his other siblings. "You're wrong." She spoke up allowing her presences to be known. "Those rumors begun before either of you returned. Finn's innocent."

"Innocent?" Kol had yet found it humorous with how Freya defined their brother. "Pardon me, love, but Finn has tried to kill the rest of us more than once. He's an enemy of our family."
