Upon watching that couple stealing the show. Monika's full body burned in the fire. How embarrassing suddenly the whole event became for her, she can't even explain it.

She felt a piercing gaze upon her from everywhere. They must be talking about her unsuccessful marriage, must be thinking about god knows what. She was going to act like she didn't care like always, but it does hurt her. Not her heart but her head was definitely hurt with tones of invisible bricks that were falling from above.

"Let's go, " Prithvi called her.

Monika forced herself to move forward with the event and danced with Mr Prithvi.

The thought of Utkarsh bid for Tina kept nudging her consciousness. Jealousy, hatred, and insult was making her emotions go high.

The event place was big so it was bearable for her to avoid without seeing them in her eyesight.

She danced with Prithvi on the tunes upon which she was hardly paying any attention to. Oh her head was hurting.

" Is it too hard to dance with me? " 
Prithvi asked seeking her attention and Monika woke up from her wandering mind.

" Han? No, No, " she embarrassed herself.

" Then what is it? my face is so ugly that you can't even take a look upon it" his words came out harshly and she looked at his face. He looked quite handsome to be called ugly.

" What! No. Sorry, If I offended you anyhow " she apologised.

" Nah, it's OK. I just did charity to dance with a real lady, not with a robot actually "

Monika didn't know how to respond to his sarcasm and just smiled and looked in his eyes to hide the embarrassment of dancing with him.

Prithvi had his eye on her from so long like he always had eyes for new beauties in the film industry. Now his target was Monika, Earlier he thought it was going to be easy thinking that Avantika was under his thumb by supplying her craving for drugs. But she got away, rejecting his proposal.

'My daughter is not for sale 'he reminded Avantika's words. Everything in this world is meant to sell. Look just now he buyed a dance with the daughter. He laughed in his mind.

Monika found him continuously looking into her eyes in an intimidating way that she had to blink frequently to break the eye contact.

She needed to be tamed, he thought. Despite his thoughts he danced like a gentleman like how people knew about him but not how he really was.

Just knowing where her real attention was he just needed to go there and get her all the attention back on him.

" I heard from someone that your husband is here and he bid for your sister. " 
He asked not to sound like offending her but it did offend her.

" Yeah, you are asking like you don't know about the trending controversial bride. " She answered dryly and hoped like last time he was not tricking her as one of Utkarsh's friends did.

As she wants that charity event did not seem to be ending so soon with their never-ending playlist. After a minute of silence, he looked in the crowd and asked her again
