For a few minutes Utkarsh remained standing there clearing his mind, then he went inside to see Tina. She looked frightened and vulnerable to him taking care of herself. So to calm her down Utkarsh hugged her till her harsh breathing became normal. Then moving apart Tina wiped her tears away. She opened her clutch and took out a small mirror to look at herself.

"That mad girl ruined my hair style. It takes my hairstylist 2 hours to make it. And see my makeup also ruined " she tried to do with her hands hiding her embarrassment of getting slapped in front of him.

" Tina, can I ask what was all that about? "

" she is mad nothing else "

" Tina, I am asking about what you said to Monika outside? " he asked, unable to stop himself from asking.

" Oh my God, look at my hair, I can't do it on my own now. I don't think I will go inside again " Tina tried to avoid his question.

" Can you please tell me whatever you said to her outside was truth or lie? " he pursued her

" Utkarsh I am going home , cya tomorrow " Tina dismissed him and sat down in her car.

That night he was left alone thinking about what was happening around him. The whole event kept playing in his mind.

When he reached his home, maids told him that Karan was not there. Getting a hint he told his driver to take him to the hospital in the middle of the night.

He went straight to Avantika's room and peeked inside, Monika was sleeping in the sitting position on the chair with her head resting in Avantika's lap.

"Oh my thighs are getting numb, Nurse can you please help me to carry Monika and put her on that couch. Don't worry she is a heavy sleeper. "

The nurse nodded and was going to carry her but Utkarsh reached her first and carried her in his arms.

" I will do it "

Avantika became surprised and nodded her head awkwardly then sent that nurse out.

He put Monika's sleeping form on the couch carefully and noticed her wet cheeks, swollen eyes from crying. He wiped it clean with his palm.

" Now what did you do to my daughter? "Avantika asked him accusingly.

" just a misunderstanding "

" cut this crap! I know you don't like me but you still come with your dad to visit me. My daughter has done nothing wrong with you but still you always find some ways to hurt her. What do you want, Utkarsh? "

" I:::::::" he was going to say when Karan came inside and dragged him out with him
