Riley P.O.V

"So my name is Serena and I'm gonna help you find a dress" she says walking me to the women department
"I'm Riley" I reply
"So was that your boyfriend?" She ask
"Cash? Eh, it's complicated" I say
"I see" she says
"Well.. he moved away to Hollywood last year, he just came back and we're trying to fix things" I explain she nods, probably judging me completely.

"No I understand, I've been there many times" she says with sympathy
"Me and him have known each other since elementary school so... we know everything about each other and he's the only one that I.." I pause "you know" I say and shrug
"Love him?" She says
"Yeah" I say
"What you need is something sexy, classy and jaw dropping and shiney" she says leading me to a rack of dresses.
She hands me a red sequin dress and points to the dressing room.
I put it in and look at my self in the mirror and gasp.

"Wow" I say looking at myself, shook. I get my phone and send a picture of it to Cash

Cash: ima rip that off you later mkay?🥰👅💦

Me: haha🖤🖤😂

I put my phone away slip the dress off and put my clothes back on and walk out with the dress
"I want this" I say smiling
"Great! Now let's talk heels!" She says leading me to that section
I giggle excited.
We pick out a pair of black strap heels and they are so cute!
"Yes!" I squeal
She laughs "okay let's go to the lobby" we head back and Cash is already there.

I walk to him and he puts his arm around me
He pulls a card out of his wallet and hands it to the cashier, he smiles down at me and I stare into his eyes just lost in them and bite my lip.
I think maybe I do love him, well I always have but.. wow. Those fucking blue eyes. This man is either gonna marry me or be the death of me.
Or both. It's scary how much I love him.
I look away and we walk out the store with our bags.

"Riley were gonna have so much fun" he says and we walk to the car, he unlocks the door and helps me in putting the bags in the back seat.
He closes the door and gets in the car on his side.

He starts the car and we head out the parking lot.
He turns the radio Witt Lowry plays
"Bro!! Yes!!!" I say and turn it up the song playing is Numb. I sing along to it so does Cash.
We don't skip a word
This reminds me of old times, we used to rap and sing along to songs all the time. Plus we love Witt. The song ends and we're on the highway. Major Lazer plays mellowing it out, Cash tunes it down a little.

"Look at me I just can't believe what they done to me"

"That was fun" he smiles
"I know! It was just like old times" I say
He holds my hand and kisses it
"I love you Riley" he says
Keeping his eye at the road. I can't help but stare at him and get lost in the moment thinking of all the love and memories we share.
I look away. He's just.. my everything.

"We can never be free.."

We get to the plaza and park in the garage. We hop out his car and head into the plaza.
We take the elevator up to the top floor.
We walk out the elevator hand in hand and walk into his suite.

"So do you have a flat iron still?" I ask
"Yep" he says and heads to the bathroom and sets it on the bathroom counter for me
"Thanks" I say.
He walks out the bathroom and I hang my dress on the back of the bathroom door.
I reach into my bag and get my makeup and brushes out. I plug in the flat iron and brush out my hair and star straightening it. Once its straight I turn off the flatiron and start doing my makeup. A Smokey eye.
Once done I put my stuff in my makeup bag and set it neatly on the bathroom counter and put my dress on.

I look at myself if the mirror and I look amazing! I smile at my reflection and walk out the bathroom turning the light off behind me.

I walk in the bedroom, Cash putting on his shirt shirt he stops halfway and looks at me and smiles at me. He bites his lip and walks up to me and takes my face into his hands and kisses me. I kiss back putting my arms around him. He stops and smiles "You look so sexy" he says.

"I can't find my ring" he says rummaging around
"Which one?" I ask
"You know the one you gave me, It's on a chain" he say lifting things up. I know exactly what he's talking to about. I walk into the bathroom and flick the light on, he has it hanging on a hook by the mirror. I take it off and walk into the room
"Here ya go" I say handing him it. He takes it and smiles putting it on.
He takes me into his arms and kisses my forehead, "I'd be lost without you Riley" he says.

"You'd be fine" I say
"Riley,I'd die without you" he says letting me go and holding me by my shoulders I side smile.
"Cash" I say, and look in his eyes
"I'm sorry, but it's true Riley" he say and looks away.
I sigh, not knowing what to say. I feel bad.
I never know what to say to him anymore..
"No, it's fine. I know how much you love me, okay?" I say and make him look at me. He does but looks sad
"Let's not talk about this right now" he says and looks up. I nod. My facial expression showing how sorry I felt. He looks at me and smiles quick, "You're so beautiful Riley" he says, I take him into my arms and hold him, him holding me tighter.

"I love you" he whispers in my ear.
"I know" I say. I wanna say I love you so damn much but I'm not ready to say it yet. But I love when he does. He's the one. I know he is and I know he's worth my time.
But he's hurt me so much in the past by lying to me. How do I know if he has changed? If he really wants to stay? If he does love me? And won't leave?
How do I know?
