Jungkook—
I walked with Taehyung, down to the cafeteria, mentally counting down in my head.
Five.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One.
"Tae Tae!"
Rolling my eyes, I held the elder's elbow, stopping him from walking, and waited for the brunette to catch up to us. "Hello, Jungkook, mind if I borrow Tae Tae?" The other male asked, flashing an innocent smile, eyes crinkling into crescents. I tried to keep my face neutral, as I nodded, and lifted the silver haired male's arm, and let Jaehyun grasp his hand. "I'll make sure to drop him off by your table, when we're all done," the latter said, cheerfully, before practically dragging the elder along with him.
I gritted my teeth, watching the two giggle, as they disappeared around the corner of a hall. I balled my fists inside my jeans pockets, and stomped into the cafeteria, obviously brooding. Heavily, I plopped down in my seat, next to Hoseok, not even bothering to go get lunch. I had no appetite after witnessing the blinding smile Taehyung hosted on his face, as he was pulled away with Jaehyun.
It seemed like the elder wanted to be with him more than me. And I couldn't do anything about it. It's not like Taehyung and I are dating, so I had no right to forbid him from seeing his childhood friend. I have no right to be possessive over him, and want to hold him tight against me. I have no right, because I can't fucking man up, and confess my feelings. I was really beginning to regret every choice I made, that led up to this one moment.
"Ahem, Kook. You've been staring at my cauliflower for the longest time. If you want some, you know you can just ask, right?"
I lifted my eyes, to stare at Jimin, blankly. The elder male scowled at me, "what? You're creeping me out, Jungkook. What's wrong with you, today?" Hosoek snorted, from beside me, as he took a sip of his Sprite. "You mean what's wrong with him for the whole week?" The aforementioned smirked, "it's because you don't have a particular blind friend sitting next to you, again, isn't it?" I shot a glare at Hoseok, hoping that my ears weren't giving away the fact that I was blushing at how I was caught so easily.
Yoongi lifted his head, from the depths of his hoodie, staring at me, without blinking. "If you like the kid, go ask him out already. Stop being such a pussy, and move your ass, Kook. It's not that hard, you walk up to Taehyung and say: 'hey, I want to fu—"
"Okay! I get it!" I yelled, putting up my hands, to stop the droopy-eyed male from continuing his sentence. "Thanks for the motivation, hyung, but I doubt he would even consider dating someone like me." Jimin rolled his eyes, dipping his cauliflower into ranch. "Are you dumb? You aren't the protagonist of a drama, Jungkook. That whole entire 'oh, they wouldn't like me' is so fucking old. Just go up to the guy and tell him, and if he really doesn't like you, then oh well. It's up to you, man. What do you want? Do you want Tae to get snatched up by Jaehyun? Or do you want him for yourself?"
I groaned, letting my face fall onto the cool surface of the lunch table. "I want to have him for myself, okay? But...still." I was gifted with a smack to the back of my head, resulting in me straightening up to send Hoseok another death glare. "What the fuck, dude?" The elder rolled his eyes, "no, it's more like, 'what the fuck, Jungkook?' Seriously, are you dumb? You're only complicating things. Get off your ass, and confess while you still have a chance."
I clenched my teeth, but nodded slowly, rising out of my seat. "Fine...I'll go, but if I come back with an even worse mood, I'm blaming all of you." Jimin waved an airy hand, "yes, yes. Whatever, Kook. Hurry up and go get your mans." Sighing, deeply, I rolled my eyes, as I stood up, and walked out of the cafeteria, in search of Taehyung.
