Taehyung—
The honk of a familiar car horn made me perk up from my comfortable position. I had my head resting inside the crook of Jungkook's neck, with both of my legs draped over his crisscrossed thighs, whilst the aforementioned was playing with my fingers, as we waited for Mr. Lee to pick us up from school.
I groaned, when the younger male patted my back, signaling for me to get off of him. "Come on, angel, it's time to go," he chided, softly. "Nooo," I whined, "you're so warm and comfy, can't we just sit here a little longer?" Jungkook only chuckled, before slipping his arm underneath me, before standing up. "Grr, you and your stupid muscles," I grumbled, pouting. A large hand ruffled the top of my head, immediately erasing the large frown on my face. "Don't be like that. Do you want me to get on Mr. Lee's bad side, by ignoring him?" I huffed, when I felt myself being settled into the car, and having a seatbelt constrain me in.
Mr. Lee coughed, slightly. "Did something happen between you two? You, both, seem to be very comfortable with each other." I grinned widely, "curious, are you? Did my parents pay you to meddle?" The elder man snorted, lightly, "please, they pay me to babysit you." I scoffed, but I wouldn't put it past my parents. Knowing them, they probably tagged everything I owned, to make sure they know where I am at all times.
I only threw myself back into my seat, and folded my arms, like a child. "Whatever. You'll get to know later," I mumbled. I could practically feel the piercing stare from Mr. Lee, when he didn't respond. I felt a hand on top of my head, bringing a smile to my face. I grabbed at the hand, and held it against my cheek, peppering kisses all over it.
Jungkook's familiar, defined, arm slipped around my waist, and pulled me against his chest. "Why the cute act today, angel?" The younger whispered into my ear. I grinned, as I murmured back, "just wanted to settle the fact that you won't ever be able to find anyone more adorable than yours truly." The other male chuckled lightly, before pressing a sweet kiss to my temple. "Like I would ever find someone else, in the first place."
The abrupt stop signaled me that we'd arrived back home. Jungkook went ahead to unbuckle my seatbelt, as Mr. Lee went to my side to open the door. I reached my hand out for the elder man to take, and help me out. Once I heard the sound of the car door slamming shut, I was slowly lead inside, as per usual. "Is Mother and Father home?" I asked, feeling the hand, holding mine, switch to a more calloused and bigger one. I smiled, when I recognized that it was the younger's fingers that had laced themselves with my own.
"Yes, sir. They've just arrived from the company, not too long ago," Mr. Lee responded. "Great! Let's all gather in the living room, then. I have something to share." There was a pause of silence, before the elder man agreed, and left Jungkook and I to head down to our meeting locale. "What is this all about, Tae?" The younger questioned, settling me down on a couch, beside him. I gripped his hand, and squeezed it tightly. "I'm going to tell them about us."
Jungkook didn't say anything for a while, causing me to frown. "Do you not want to?" I questioned, aloud. "No!" The younger exclaimed. "It's not like that, Tae. It's just...what if your parents won't consent to the idea?" I snorted, "my parents are easy-going people. They have no prejudices against same-sex love, and the last thing they would do is upset me." I lowered my head, lips turning down, slightly. "Perks of being blind."
Fingers pinched my chin, tilting my head upwards. "You know that isn't true," the other male murmured. "Your parents love and care for you. They would never want to hurt you, because they want you to be happy. You deserve that happiness, Tae. You deserve all of the happiness in the world." I smiled, slightly, and nodded, leaning into the younger's shoulder. "Thanks, Kookie."
"Oh my, did we walk onto a sweet moment?" The voice of my mother tittered, heels click-clacking on the hardwood floors. I chuckled, "good afternoon, Mother. Are those Father's footsteps that I hear behind you?" The said man laughed a booming laugh, "what a smart son that I have! Yes, that's correct, Taehyung. I'm right here." There was a moment of shuffling as everyone got comfortable with their seating arrangements before my father spoke up. "So why did you call us for, Taehyung?"
I cleared my throat, nerves racing up and down my body. "Well...I wanted to tell you both that...I've found love."
It was silent.
I couldn't even pick up a single loudly exhaled breath. My nerves started to run on the edge of borderline anxiety, the longer no one spoke.
Finally, my mother was the one who decided to break the silence. "And who is it that you love?" I gave her a wobbly smile, the stress causing me to shake a little, "the boy sitting on my right." A loud squeal erupted, splitting my eardrums. "AWW! I knew it! I, absolutely, knew that you two would be a couple! Honey! Didn't I tell you?" A loud laugh came from my father, as we witnessed my mother's excitement. "Yes, yes, you did. You guessed correctly, darling."
I let go of a strained chuckle, "so does that mean you both approve?" Mother huffed, almost indignantly, "why of course! Jungkook has been nothing but good to you, and of course anyone can tell that you two care about each other!"
"You better not hurt my son, Jeon Jungkook," Father warned the younger, teasingly. I felt him tense beside me, as he replied with a serious, "yes, sir. I would never ever cause Taehyung pain, of any kind, intentionally." I squeezed his hand, and leaned my head against his shoulder. "I know you won't, Kookie. I trust you." My hand was squeezed back, in return, sending a smile to my face.
"Well, now that that's taken cared of, why don't we all go celebrate with some drinks?" Mother suggested. My ears perked as the clicks of her heels retreated down the halls, with my father in tail. I shook my head, "Father is seriously whipped for my mother. He follows her around like some loyal dog." Jungkook chuckled, "and are you saying I don't do the same for you?" I giggled, "I'm not denying anything." The younger pinched my cheek, lightly, shaking my head side-to-side. "Aren't you just the cutest? My adorable, little, angel."
I grinned, widely.
"That's me."
