Jungkook—

(a/n: I'll be writing in normal font, since I know some of you get irritated reading in italics, and I get irritated writing in it for a long time lols)

I leaned against the wall, one foot propped, flat, on the brick pillar of the school, outside. I was with my friends, Jimin, Yoongi hyung, and Hoseok hyung, waiting for the first bell to ring to start class. Jimin was in the middle of arguing about how he was taller than Yoongi, until a white luxury car pulled up to the front of the building, making him stop mid-sentence. The windows were all tinted, so no one could see who was inside, but we all knew whoever it was didn't attend school here before.

A man, who seemed about to be in his mid-fifties, stepped out from the driver's side, and rounded around the car, and opened the door, revealing our newcomer. It was a boy, dressed in a shiny red silk button-up shirt and black slacks that fitted his long legs perfectly. He had on dangly silver earrings, that danced whenever he moved, and his hair was the color of a snowy sky. To say that this male was handsome was an understatement. He was gorgeous.

I was bisexual, but of course everyone thinks that I'm straight. I couldn't taint my reputation by dating both girls and boys. It just wasn't something that Korean culture accepted, so easily. Yet, in that moment I was willing to drop everything and make him mine, but I refrained myself. I wasn't a fool. Jimin whistled, "so that's the new guy, huh? Must be loaded." Hoseok grinned widely, "maybe we can make friends with him." Yoongi just stared at the new kid, with a bored expression on his face. As usual.

The boy reached out to take his chauffeur's hand, who pulled him out of the car. A woman, who seemed to be in her late forties, soon followed after. The woman was wearing a knee-length long white dress that hugged her body, paired with a black cardigan on top, with everything cinched together by an extravagant black Chanel belt. The woman's hair was styled to perfection, as to her whole entire appearance.

The woman, who I assumed, must be the guy's mom, lead him up the school steps, and into the building. I followed the male's every step, eyes running up and down his body, like I was studying for an exam. Everything about him was perfect. From his head to his toes, everything was stunning. I almost forgot that I had a girlfriend, in that moment.

"Earth to Jungkook? Hello?" Hoseok called, waving a hand in front of my nose. I blinked away from my thoughts, and stared at the elder, with an, expectant, raised eyebrow. "What?" The latter asked. "It's not my fault that you spaced out, you brat. Learn to respect your elders!" I scoffed, before shouldering on my backpack, and beginning to walk into the school. "I'm heading to class," I said, with a wave of my hand, without looking back. "That brat," I heard Jimin grumble.

I walked around the school, not actually wanting to head to class, yet. It was just an excuse to my friends, so I could be left alone, for a bit. It's been rough at home, and school was one of the only places that gave me a small shred of peace. I sighed, and shoved my hands into my pockets. I'll be turning eighteen soon, and I can graduate and leave for college, and put this hellhole of a city in the past. I just wanted to get out as soon as possible.

Immersed in my thoughts, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Usually, when people see me, they'd either gush, say hi, or avoid me at all costs. My reputation here is my everything. This is the only place that respects me, and I intend to keep that respect for as long as I could. The main point was: no one would dare to cross paths with me. But, this time it wasn't the case. Before I knew it, my shoulder made contact with someone else's and they were flung against the wall.

I glanced down at the person who fell, and was surprised, when it was the new kid. He was on his knees, mumbling curses, as he helped himself up. "Jeez, can't you look where you're going?" I asked, feeling annoyed. Who did he think was to just walk around wherever he pleased, as if he owned the place? If he wanted respect he had to earn it through hard work, and climbing up the social ladder. Not like it'd be hard for him, considering that he looked like a model who stepped off a magazine, and was probably filthy rich.

The guy turned his head towards me, an icy glare on his face. "I was the one who moved out of the way, but it takes both sides to make the effort, you know. If you wanted to avoid hitting me, then you should've side-stepped as well. Get off your high horse, before you think you can talk back to me like you're the innocent one. If I know I did you wrong then I'd apologize."

People started whispering to each other, glancing in our direction. No! I can't lose my place on the social ladder, like this! I knew it was probably my fault, but that doesn't mean they need to know. I scoffed, "I don't think you know who you're talking to, new kid." The male snorted, "I know I'm talking to an egotistical brat who thinks his school status probably defines his whole entire being. You probably have some, equally, popular girlfriend, too, right? Where is she? I should be hearing some annoying ass voice chew me out for disrespecting you, soon, am I correct?"

I opened my mouth, ready to reproach him for insulting my girlfriend, but if as on que, her voice rang through the halls; the click clacking of her stilettos silencing the chatter. "Who the fuck is this? Baby, did he talk back to you? Want me to take care of him?" The male sneered, "like I thought. You're so stereotypical, you know." Stereotypical keeps me safe. That's something this spoiled rich boy wouldn't understand. That's something someone who's been pampered his whole life wouldn't even think about. The new guy scoffed, before walking off down the hall.

Not wanting to look like a speechless buffoon, I called after him. "Hey! You can't just walk off like that, bastard!" He responded, without even turning to look back, "oh, really? Just watch me, bitch, just watch me." With the last word being said, the male turned down into a hall, and disappeared.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my hands. This whole entire situation was my fault, yet I was too much of a coward to admit it. I didn't want people to think I was lenient enough to say sorry. I'm not the type to say sorry to anyone without a good reason. Now, regret filled inside of me, making me wish that I'd just have apologized, and everything would've been dealt with quicker. What if I had classes with him? How would I keep acting around him, knowing that he did nothing wrong? Jeez, I should've just kept my mouth shut.

My girlfriend snaked her hand around my arm, and looked up at me with her cute face. "Are you okay, babe? Did he hurt you?" I smiled, automatically, feeling lighter now that she's with me. "Yeah. I'm fine. That jerk can't do much damage on me." She nodded, enthusiastically, "yeah. No way. Not on the Jeon Jungkook." I chuckled, lightly, at that.

Not the Jeon Jungkook, huh?

You know, I just realized that I always seem to make Jungkook the messed up one in all of my school fanfics, for some reason. Huh...that's weird. Oh whale.

Whistle by (G)i-dle was amazing, of course. I loved every bit of it, they're seriously all so talented and gorgeous and aesthetic, ahhh!

Also, if my chapters are either too short or take too long to update, it's because school just started for me, and I'm just a poor little freshman, so have mercy on me lol :)
