"So I was watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory the other day and thought of you." Alyssa was saying as we made our way to class.

I raised an eyebrow at the random statement. "Um Lyss, has the recent heat wave messed with your head at all?" "My head is completely fine, thanks. No, I was watching it and it reminded me of your current situation." She explained huffily.

"Current situation?" I repeated, confused. She nodded. "Yeah, you know, with the guys and stuff." I stopped walking to stare at her. "How in the world did watching a movie about a candy factory remind you of me dating two guys?"

"Well...It's just that he has all those little Oompa Loompa things running around doing anything he wants, just to please him or whatever." She muttered. Neither of us spoke for a long awkward moment.

"That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, are you sure you weren't on some kind of drugs at the time of watching said movie?" I asked and we continued towards class.

"Fine, make fun of me it's fine. It made sense at the time mkay. The only difference is that instead of creepy little singers you have studly guys following you around." She said. "Yeah that's the only difference between me and Mr. Wonka." I snorted.

"That...And you don't have a chocolate waterfall, like, how awesome would that be?" I nodded in agreement. "I'd go skinny dipping all the time." She said. "Me too."

Another day of school went by without incident, mostly because I took turns having lunch with Scott and Aaron so they didn't have to be around eachother. Pretty clever on my part I know.

I did not want a repeat of Aaron getting punched. After I got home Scott called to ask me out to the movies as our first date since basically starting over fresh. Obviously I agreed. Starting over left me with a weird jittery feeling.

I'd seen about a hundred movies with him during our relationship and I've never been this nervous before. Hopefully the nerves would subside once we got back into our usual comfortable flow.

I changed into a pair of jeans, leggings underneath, and a dark purple dressy shirt. My efforts with the straightner were futile but I did my best considering the heat. A bit of light make up and I was ready.

"You look nice honey, Scott taking you out tonight or Aaron?" Mom asked. It had been weird explaining to my mom and Benji that I was now dating both guys. I felt like some kind of pimp.

I figured it was best that I left my dad in the dark for awhile. That would be all kinds of awkward.

"Um Scott, to the movies. That's okay right?" I asked, suddenly realizing how often I forget to ask her for permission to do stuff. "Of course Bunny, I trust you and Scott."

"Aaron too?" She gave me a small smile. It was no secret that she had a bit of a 'mom' crush on Aaron. Who could blame her though?

"Yes, I know that when you're with Aaron you'll be taken care of." She murmured. A knock at the door stopped our conversation. "Okay, bye mom love you!" I said quickly. "Love you too dear."

I opened the door to Scott's smiling face. He was dressed casual as always. Simple jeans and a button down. "Hey, ready?" He asked. I nodded eagerly and let him open the door of his truck for me.

We drove to the theaters making small talk. I knew he was nervous too, not as much as me but still. There were only a few good movies playing so we selected a romantic comedy. (Let me just say that I despise almost every romcom out there, but it seemed like an appropriate date pick.)

I was just willing myself to get through it without barfing. Ha. Scott got popcorn and drinks, insisting that he pay for everything, even the tickets. Only a handful of other people were seeing the same movie so we got good seats towards the top.

The previews started and I dug into the popcorn. "Hey Chloe?" Scott mumbled quietly, not whispering because no one was near us. "Yeah?" "I well, uh nevermind." I glanced over at him. "What, come on you can tell me." I urged.

"I was going to mention how much I, I missed this. Just simple date night with you." he said, leaning over to kiss my cheek.

"Oh." I mumbled, not sure of how to respond. Most of the popcorn was gone by the time the actual movie started. I knew it was going to suck, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Katherine Heigel, you seem nice and everything, but please stop making movies for awhile!

I had to use self control not to groan at some of the cheesy lines. Not more than twenty minutes in I could feel Scott shift restlessly in his seat. A chuckle burst through my lips at his obvious discomfort.

He turned and smiled. "Something funny?" He whispered, leaing close to my ear. "Oh nothing." I said. "Sure..." He muttered and did the cliche raised arm over his head to land around my shoulder thing. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

"Very subtle there." I said sarcastically but cuddled into his side anyways. "It worked didn't it?" He said, leaving a kiss on the top of my head.

We sat cuddled up like that for a long moment. I was past caring about the movie now, and more interested in possibly getting some kissing in...

Sure every time I went to kiss either boys I felt a rush of guilt no matter how many times Alyssa justified it for me. But honestly, I made my choice, so I should be allowed to do this dating thing the way I want.

I'm young and in love, what's the point of being either of those if you can't be a little stupid? Hm? I peeked up at Scott through my lashes wondering what he was thinking. There was definately no way he could be into this movie, nobody truely could.

Smiling to myself I wet my lips and left a tiny kiss on the edge of his jaw. His eyelids fluttered momentarily before meeting my gaze.

"I'm assuming you don't want to watch the movie any more, correct?" He whispered. I tilted my head up until our lips were joined. "Correct." "Mm Chloe, maybe we should go somewhere a little more, uh..."

He stopped talking because my lips reached the side of his cheek and I let my tongue trail just slightly under his earlobe. "Somewhere more private." he finally gasped out, breathing heavily.

"I'm right behind you." I said. We quickly vacated our seats and nearly ran out to his truck. I got in the passenger side and waited for only a fraction of a second before he was climbing in the drivers side and pulling me onto his lap.

I laughed giddily before our lips met again. The eagerness and nervousness mixed quite well together actually. His lips tasted new and yet, familiar at the same time. The way his hands held me a certain way around my waist felt like falling back into routine.

I noticed how I was more of the one to initiate certain kissing styles with Scott, while it was the other way around when with Aaron. Aaron was usually the one to be more...Bold I guess.

It's nice with both- Wow I need to stop comparing kissing techniques while actually making out with Scott. Now I'm feeling guilty for overthinking during the time I'm supposed the be caught up or whatever. Ugh.

"Mm Chloe, you feel so, mh." Scott mumbled against my chin. Thankfully he was still in the moment. I placed my hands on either side of his face and banished all other thoughts from my mind other than him.

I sighed contentedly at how easy it was to go back to where we left off. A car door slamming made us both jump. Scott's head snapped up to check out the window.

"It's fine, just some lady she didn't see us." He said, giving me a smile. "Maybe we should go, sitting in a parking lot is a little too public for my taste." I said. "Alright." he said and gave me one more kiss before sliding back into his seat, letting me adjust into mine.

"Even though we ditched the movie, this was still a damn good date Chloe." he said, starting the truck. I nodded. "It dosen't have to end yet, you know, I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind if you stayed at my house for awhile yet." I said. "That sounds great Chloe, really great."

My felt a wave of sadness after realizing how happy Scott sounded to just basically spend time with me. We hadn't even done anything except kiss for a bit in his truck and he thought it was a good date. Oh Scott. I knew this whole thing was bothering him more than he was letting on. This was such a no win situation. Being with him upset Aaron, being with Aaron upset Scott. Sigh.
