If you were to ask me a week ago if I thought I'd be sitting at a table in the most exspensive italian restaurant in town with a lap full of scolding hot soup, next to Aaron who was standing over the waiter he had just shoved, and his mother screeching about low class staffing and how how these kind of things never happened in Italy...

My answer? No probably not. Sigh.

Yeah. I should probably just go back to the week before. A pretty great time frame actually. Miles better than this anyways.

My dad had just announced that him, Terri, and Lola were going away on a family cruise off the coast of Florida somewhere. I'm a little sketchy on the details. He had asked Benji and me if we wanted to come too, but, really.

Benji was going to this weekly soccer camp thing on and off, and I just preffered solid land to sea. Also my boyfriend. I definately preffered Aaron to endless buffets and cluttered swimming pools. Like, who wouldn't though?

Anyways... I had just received a package of assorted chocolates from the hershy factory in the mail from Alyssa. She was on this long road trip (and had been for most of the summer), with her cousins.

She'd been sending me random stuff from the places she liked most. And judging by the size of the box, Hershy PA was on her favorites list.

In other news, mom wasn't working much in order to do some long-awaited chores around the house that she had been meaning to get around to.

I on the other hand had been picking up lots of double shifts at the pet store, because apparently August was the month that Soldan employees hated to work most. I liked being the only one in charge of the store, so not a big deal. The extra money helped too, can't forget about that.

The only person I didn't really know what was going on with was Scott. That hurt a tiny bit. The last thing I heard, was that he had headed upstate to clear his head for awhile with his friends, and wouldn't back until school started.

I sincerely hoped he was doing okay, he deserved that much. I couldn't be too sad over it though, I spent nearly every day with Aaron.

We've kind of been in this bubble of togetherness lately. It's been pretty spectacular if I'm gonna be honest. The only real problem is that we're so caught up in eachother that we get to the point where neither of us wants to do anything other than be together so...

One day we actually organized, re-labled, and dusted off each of my mother's 37 book encyclopedia collection on the livingroom floor and simply talked for hours without getting bored.

After that I came to the conclusion that I could do anything, and I do mean anything, with my blonde boy and be perfectly happy about it. Luckily Aaron feels the same way.

Even more so now that his parents have decided to stay longer than normal. I explained the whole 'parent situation' thoroughly to my mom and she agreed to let Aaron stay over most nights as long as he spends every other night on the couch.

She doesn't make him do any chores but he still helps out a lot. For a kid who grew up with maids he sure knows how to make the kithcen floor sparkle.

It was Tuesday, the second week in August. I had just gotten out of work and Aaron was already at home waiting for me on the couch. We moved up to my room to chill on the bed.

Benji was at his soccer thing until six, and mom head went to the hardware store for new paint for the kitchen and bathroom. Her words; "Bunny rabbit, our house needs to lighten up and get out of the dark ages." I wasn't gonna argue with her logic.

I'm still wearing my gem blue Soldan's shirt and faded jeans, too lazy to change. Aaron's dressed in his usual black jeans and gray t-shirt.

We're both propped up against the pillows digging into a jar of chocolate covered oreos from Alyssa, the radio playing quietly mostly for background noise. Neither of us paying too much attention.
