I was in that state of sleep where everything is warm and comfortable and the thought of moving even an inch was unpleasant. Of course that also happened to be the moment my stupid alarm clock started it's shrill beeping.

I quickly rolled over and slapped a palm down, silencing it immediately. Rubbing my eyes, I remembered that I was not alone in bed and smiled.

Aaron was on his stomach, face buried in a pillow still sound asleep. I let myself take a few extra moments to watch how even his breathing was. How beautiful and peaceful he looked in dreamland.

As much as I didn't want to disturb him, we had to go to his house for some fresh clothes and then hurry off to school. We only had this final week and I couldn't afford to be late for any tests.

Sighing finally, I gently rubbed over his bare shoulder. "Aaron honey, time to wake up." "Mh?" Came his muttered reply from beneath the pillow.

I giggled, feeling like a dorky toddler, but at the same time not really caring much because of how happy I was to have Aaron here in my bed.

I tried to nudge him again, speaking a little louder. "Aaron, we have to go to school." "Mm no, school is cold, bed warm." He muttered. My cheeks were actually starting to ache from smiling like a total teenager in love...Which is accurate, but nevermind.

I sighed and went to hop off the bed when his arm shot out and dragged me back. "Stay and be warm with me." He said. I glanced at his face, only to see one eye peeking out at me.

I knew he was smiling too and it warmed my heart. I shook my head, leaning into his touch anyway. "We have plenty of time to be warm in bed together after school, if you know what I mean." I teased.

His eyebrow rose slightly and I bent down to drag my lips over his for a, barely there kiss. "Are you trying to bribe me?" He wondered aloud. I grinned and left the bed before he could grab for me again.

"That depends, was it working?" I asked, grabbing clean clothes from my dresser. He sat up and stretched, yawning in the most adorable way.

"I don't know, maybe you should give it another go." He suggested. I walked over to where he was seated and started to lean in. Right before our lips met I pushed his shoulders back and ran out of the room.

"Tease!" I heard him call. Laughing I went into the bathroom to get ready. It was an amazing feeling, waking up with Aaron, joking and carefree. I only hoped more mornings could be spent this way once school was over.

Depending on whether or not my mom let this sort of thing happen again. She knew how much Aaron meant to me, so maybe it wouldn't be that hard to persuade her if nessecary...

Once I was finished brushing my teeth and changed, I opened the bathroom door to see Aaron waiting against the wall, dressed in yesterday's clothes. My mouth was tugging into a huge smile without me even realizing it.

"You are awfully cheerful this morning." He observed, snaking his arms around my waist and pulling me close. His hair was all messy and yet so perfect to me at the same time.

"Well I got to wake up next to you didn't I?" I replied, lifting my fingers to curl in the hair near the nape of his neck. He pressed forward until our foreheads were resting together.

"Yes, yes you did." He whispered. There was a second where my mind went back to the first morning I woke up with Aaron and I couldn't repress the shudder.

I had been so stupid and heartless to leave him like that. Oh well. Nothing I could do about it now except make it up to Aaron.

"Hey, is something wrong babe?" He whispered. My heart sped up simply from hearing this new pet name. I would have never thought that I'd actually enjoy being called something other than my real name, but maybe it was just that it was Aaron saying it.
