In the wake of the War of Light Henry and his friends began to take charge of organizing groups to help rebuild the city they once loved. It was one week later when Henry found himself standing in front of the glass case that protected his old sidekick uniform. "There you are Kid, people are looking for you all over the place," Ray said as he entered the memorial room. Henry didn't turn around to look at him, instead, the blond continued to remember his younger superhero self.
"Do you miss it?" Henry found himself asking, his friend took a deep breath then placed a hand on Henry's shoulder. Ray responded,
"of course I do Henry, you were my first sidekick, the original Kid Danger." Henry, on the other hand, chuckled softly then smirked,
"what about Drex?" Ray scoffed,
"please tell me you're not still hung up on that." Henry just crossed his arms and turned to face his old boss. He sighed, "Drex doesn't have anything on you, neither does Jasper. The first couple of missions he went on... I kept calling him Henry. Ask him yourself, it took me more than a few months to get over the fact that you weren't my sidekick." Henry laughed,
"it's okay Ray." The two hugged each other then Ray asked,
"so, what's next for you? Mr. I'm a super powerful Psychic?" The blond smiled then turned back to his superhero uniform before answering,
"I'm not a Psychic anymore Ray, the Enchantment of Light absorbed all of our powers while we performed it." He paused then asked, "that's not what you meant was it?" Ray shook his head,
"no." Henry then reached into his pocket and pulled out the ragged old superhero mask he wore oh-so-long ago.
"I don't know." The two lapsed in silence then said, "on one hand I want to live a normal life. I saved the universe already but on the other hand... I want to keep doing this," he gestured to his costume, "saving people." Ray nodded than gave Henry's shoulder a squeeze,
"I know what you mean Kid. There were times when I almost quit training, but I didn't because I knew if I didn't, then no one else would save the people of Swellview." Henry placed his mask on the mannequin's face before turning and walking out of the room. "Hey, Kid, where are you going?" Henry let the corners of his mouth pull up into a small smile before answering,
"to visit an old friend."
He approached the Swellview sign, surprisingly the sign itself wasn't damaged at all during the fight. The only damage done to the sign was intricate spray paint designs. "Hello?" He asked, hoping his friend would be at their meeting place. Henry heard the gravel crunch behind him so he spun around facing a girl with purple streaks running through her hair. She observed him as if deciding whether or not he was a threat.
"I thought you were someone else." The girl said frowning slightly before returning to her artwork. Henry couldn't help but smirk,
"Kid Danger?" She paused then turned around, cans out as if they were a weapon.
"How'd you know that?" Henry held his hands up then said,
"Veronica, I am, well, I was Kid Danger." The Wall Dog hesitated then dropped the cans and embraced him in a hug. "Okay, I kind of need to breathe." He said, she apologized then let go of him.
"Why are you here?" She asked him sitting on a flat stone. He sat next to her then said,
"I need help deciding something." Veronica stared at him then spoke,
"with what?" Henry hesitated,
"I can't figure out what to do next. If I still want to train as a superhero, or if I want to live a normal life and go to college to learn things." Veronica grabbed his hand and held it to his heart, "what are you doing?" Henry asked laughing at her, she looked deadly serious when she answered,
"it's your heart. Listen to it Kid Danger, you're a Legend in the storybooks. I'm sure you'll figure out what to do." With that as their final goodbye, she gathered up her spray cans and ventured off higher on the mountain leaving Henry with her last tag. She painted the word Legends in blue and red, Captain Man and Kid Danger's logo was painted behind it. The blond turned around to face his city. The damage wasn't as bad as it was before, the buildings were returning to their former glory and he could see the memorial they created for those who died in the war as well.
This was his city and he would never leave it again. He was a hero, a Legend, and those who crossed his path would know why he called himself that.

All done! :) Once again special thanks to meadow119 for being an awesome supporter throughout this fic. I know there are probably a ton of grammar and spelling errors, but I'm not going to be spending time editing it. Took me about three weeks to finish this one, and it'll probably be one of my last. I honestly wasn't even planning on writing this one. There may or may not be a Max Thunderman - centric fic in the upcoming future. Maybe I'll actually start on that Teen Wolf/SPN fic I've been wanting to write for three years. You never know. Sorry that these last couple of chapters were shorter than normal, I kind of ran out of ideas. Hopefully, I'll be back with at least a Henry Danger One-shot since the series is finally starting to release season 5 episodes, but don't get your hopes up.
Love Y'all, signing off for now,
