"H-hi." Jungkook was the definition of shook. His eyes widened as he looked me up and down. A smile sparked across his lips as he continued. "You look. . .wow. You look amazing. I didn't know you could be any more perfect." Jungkook handed me the roses.
He was dressed in a nice button up shirt and slacks. He had a suit jacket on and a tie loosely tied around his neck. His hair was pushed back, exposing his forehead. His dorky smile made me blush.
"Aww, thank you! You're too sweet!"
I turned around a little bit to hand the flowers to Sarah. She took them and put them in a vase with water. After a long moment of me and Jungkook just staring at each other, Sarah broke the silence.
"Well, go on. Get outta here and have some fun...but not TOO much fun."
I giggled lightly to myself. Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair and then offered his hand to me. I cautiously accepted it. As I did so, he waved back at Sarah.
We walked out the door and he led me to a large limo parked right outside my apartment. My jaw dropped.
"Woah. I've never been this close to one of these."
I examined the car closely, tracing my fingers slowly across the hood. I abruptly stopped and glared at Jungkook. "Wait. We're not going on our date in one of these are we?"
He opened the car door in response and extended his hand to me again. I grinned and jumped before taking hold of his hand. He carefully helped me into the limo.
"So where are we going?" I asked, shifting in my seat to face him.
He just stared at me with a dumb smile plastered on his face and refused to say anything.
"So that's how it gonna be, huh? Silent treatment?"
I crossed my arms and leaned backwards, against my door. "Well. . .two can play at that game."
Our little "silent treatment" game turned into a full-on staring contest. I don't know how, but he never blinked. Not once! After awhile, I just gave up.
I leaned forward and laid my head down on his shoulder. He took his left hand and crossed it over my body to take hold of my right hand. At last, the silence broke.
"I could stay like this forever." he said, wrapping his other arm around my shoulders.
"Ditto." I smiled and raised my head a bit to look into Jungkook's eyes. He was so happy.
I pressed my lips against his and he slid his arms around me even tighter. I could feel his heartbeat becoming one with mine. I didn't want to let go.
Eventually, I pulled away and leaned back onto his shoulder. We stayed that way for the remainder of the drive. We sat in pure silence. This time the silence was peaceful. It was. . .passionate.
Soon, the car came to a halt. Jungkook quickly threw off his seatbelt and ran out his door. I watched him scurry like Shaggy and Scooby when they saw a monster.
I took my own seatbelt off and gathered my bag and personal items up. As soon as I reached for the door, it opened. It revealed Jungkook standing there with his hand out, waiting for me to hold on and step out.
As I did so, I looked all around us. Everywhere I looked there were buildings, lights, stores, and even music.
"Jungkook. Where ARE we?" I asked out of pure curiosity.
He smiled even bigger as he leaned close to me. He gently whispered in my ear, "We're in Seoul."
AN// Sorry for the slightly boring part. It'll get more interesting really soon! I promise.WC: 612
