As soon as the clock on my phone turned 7:45, the doors of the auditorium swung open and fans came streaming in and found their seats. I sat tightly in my chair and held on to all my stuff as people hustled in and ruffled around me. I didn't mind it though. Everyone was here for the same reason: to show our love and support for our Bangtan Boys. And nothing was gonna ruin that.
There was a young girl, probably about 13 years old, who was sitting next to me. She turned her head over to me and took a doubletake. "Wait. Don't I know you from somewhere?" she asked.
I shook my head and smiled. "I don't believe so. I'm Cassie." I introduced myself and stretched my hand out to her.
"Anaya. Nice to meet you." she shook my hand and continued, "I could have sworn I've seen you somewhere. Do you live around here?"
I shook my head in response.
"Do you work in Seoul?"
I replied, "No. Maybe in a dream? I've heard about people meeting other people in their minds and then later meeting them in person."
Anaya suddenly gasped. "Daily Dreamboat!" she exclaimed.
"Huh?" I gave her a puzzled glance.
"That's where I know you from! Daily Dreamboat."
She pulled out her phone and typed in a few letters. Then, she turned the phone to face me. "Is that you?" she asked, pointing at the screen.
I felt chills crawl all the way up my spine. There on the screen was the front of the 'Daily Dreamboat' magazine. And who was on it? Oh, just Jungkook. . . and me. . . kissing.
I squeezed the phone and Anaya had to force it out from between my fingers.
"Yes, that's me." I admitted with a small sigh.
Anaya stared at me and asked, "So you and Jungkook are official?!"
I leaned back in my chair and muttered to myself with a slight dejected tone, "I guess we are."
Suddenly, the lights went out and the show began. All around the auditorium, erupted screams and shouts of delight as the preshow started. Inside my body, I could feel my own screams of fear.
But all of the chaos in my mind dissolved when Jungkook stepped right out on stage and stared me dead in the eyes and smiled.
He lifted his mic set up over his head and tilted the mic part down to his lips.
He began whistling the beginning of DNA and everyone went insane.
I could already tell it was gonna be a great night.
