I woke up the next morning in a wild state of confusion. I saw a pair of clothes sitting at the foot of the bed I was lying in. A bed that I was definitely not familiar with. I changed into a pair of black leggings and a baggy sweatshirt that had been folded up on the bed previously.
"Where am I?" I wondered.
I walked out the door and stepped into a room that I knew all too well.
"Hey." a raspy voice said from behind me as they wrapped their strong arms around my waist. I looked over my shoulder to see Jungkook smiling at me while he said, "Good morning, darling. How did you sleep?"
He led me to the dining room table where he had set out boxes of cereal and milk and a stack of bowls.
"Wonderfully!" I answered. Awkwardly, I swayed back and forth. "May I ask a question?"
He laughed. "You just did."
I glared at him with a small smirk appearing on my face. "Why didn't you bring me to my apartment?" I asked.
He took a deep breath in. "I knew your family would be asleep and I didn't want to wake up you or your family. So I just brought you here. I found a pair of leggings that were my cousin's. She left them here. So I thought you might be able to wear them. That sweatshirt's mine, but honestly? It looks WAY better on you."
I blushed deeply. "You know you didn't have to do all this." I said, sitting down in a chair at the table.
"Yeah, but I wanted to. For my gorgeous girlfriend." He kindly retorted and rubbed my shoulder.
"Oh! Where is she? I'm just dying to meet her." I smiled at him.
Jungkook laughed and kissed the top of my head before sitting down in the chair across from me to make his breakfast. As we ate, I heard footsteps coming from down the hall.
I looked up and said "Good morning," to a sleepy Taehyung.
He saw me, leaned his head to the side, shrugged, and then widened his eyes in realization. He walked over and sat beside Jungkook.
"Soooo. How was your night?" Taehyung asked us.
Jungkook cleared it all up. "We didn't do anything, Tae."
The rest of the members came in and did pretty much the exact same thing. Except Jimin. Jimin reacted very differently.
"Morning peoples. What's for breakfast?" he asked.
I replied, "Cereal."
He nodded. "Cool! Good morning, Cassie."
I checked my phone to see what time it was: 8:55am.
"Uh, I should probably get home. My sister will be up soon and I gotta watch her today." I explained.
"Let us come with you! We'd love to help." Jungkook said, gesturing to the whole group.
A few of the members shook their heads in disapproval. Jungkook corrected himself. "Fine. I'd love to."
I thought for a minute. "Fine. I'll text Sarah and tell her you'll be there."
Jimin stood up. "Woah, wait. If Sarah's there, I'll be there."
"Sure." I laughed and put my dishes away in the sink. I grabbed my bags before stepping out into the patio area.
