After quite some time, I heard footsteps approach me. I looked up to see Jungkook leaning down, smiling at me.
He bounced on his toes a bit and asked, "Whatcha doing?"
I shyly showed him my phone screen and watched him giggle. Yes, giggle.
"Eww. Have you watched all of these?"
I smiled sheepishly and nodded.
He snorted. "Nerd." and followed the statement with a smile.
He sat down beside me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into him. My head leaned against his chest. I could feel his heart pumping, slowly but surely. His head rested on top of mine. I wrapped my arms around him and shut my eyes tightly.
I must've fallen asleep for a little while or something. I felt Jungkook move out from under me, so I got up.
"I've got a surprise for you, Cassie." He stood up and adjusted his mic a bit.
"Oh? What is it?" I asked.
"You'll see."
He then walked out of the room, leaving me in a very curious state. After a minute or two, he returned with something behind his back. I stood up as he walked down to directly in front of me. He pulled out a small embellished box.
"This is for you." He handed me the box and continued, "I tried looking for the most beautiful thing there, but I didn't see you. So I bought you this instead."
I blushed deeply and slowly opened up the box. It was a lovely blue pendant with the word 'Euphoria' on one side and 'C+J 4-ever' on the other side. I gasped and felt my eyes immediately begin to fill with tears.
"Do you like it?" he nervously asked after I didn't say anything for several minutes.
I quickly reached up and hugged him. "Oh, Jungkook! I love it! Thank you so much. You're the sweetest. But I don't want you spending this money on me." I said, wiping the tears out of my eyes.
"Nonsense. I wanted to." He took the pendant out of the box and clipped it around my neck. "You are the cause of my euphoria," he sang.
I pulled his collar in towards me and kissed him again. This time, instead of pulling away, he reached around me to hold me in tighter. I pulled back slightly.
"This is gonna be the best night ever," Jungkook said, brushing the hair out of my eyes.
"Sure is." I agreed.
