I stood up as Jungkook walked back in the room.
"Everything alright?" I asked, smoothing out my skirt.
He nodded and plastered a smile on his face. "Never better!"
He walked up to me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door. "Come on! Let's go on an exploration!" He suggested with great enthusiasm.
I giggled and we ran out the door. We started walking back down the hallway. We went into each room, one-by-one. Each room had a hair and makeup station, a few couches against the walls, and even a little kitchen area with snacks and goodie baskets.
All the other band members were in the biggest room. When Jungkook and I stepped inside that room, they all turned and stared at us with big goofy smiles on their faces.
"What?" Jungkook asked.
No answer.
"WhAt?!" he demanded.
Jin stood up and started singing a new version of Epiphany, "She's the one you should love. In this world."
Jungkook turned multiple shades of red and looked like he would slap Jin. I laughed a bit and laced my fingers even tighter into Jungkook's hand.
He squeezed my hand and said, "Oh, shut up, you guys."
He led me to the big goodie basket sitting on the table and handed me a box of cookies.
"For you," he said. "Just to tie you over for a little while." I threw the cookies in my bag.
Suga walked up to Jungkook and addressed him. "So, Jung. Are you guys gonna go out to eat with us after the show? Or are you just going straight back to the apartments?"
Jungkook smirked at me before replying. "Well, it depends on how well the date goes."
He did a small wink, causing my heart to flutter.
"Date?" RM asked walking up to us. "What date?" He arched his eyebrow at me.
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Come on, Cassie. We've got more exploring to do."
Jimin stifled a laugh and quietly said, "THAT'S what she said."
V slapped his arm as me and Jungkook ran back out the door. We ran all the way down the hallway and made our way up the steps to the stage.
As we got to the official backstage area, Jungkook stopped. "Wait! Cassie. Close your eyes and don't open them until I tell you to."
"Oooookay?" I did so and he led me forward quite a few steps.
"Aaaaaaaand. Open!" he announced.
I opened my eyes and gasped as I looked around. I was standing in the middle of the stage, scanning all the empty seats. There was balcony after balcony, row after row, seat after seat. . .and they'd all be filled that night.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" he asked me, and hugged me from behind.
"I should say so," I turned around to face him and continued as he wrapped his arms around my waist, "But not as beautiful as this view."
He laughed aloud. "Hey, that's MY line."
I smiled and reached my hands up to his face. I shrugged and pushed his hair out of his eyes. "Maybe it's time you find a new one."
He thought a bit and smiled. "Alright. How about. . .I love you, Cassandra?"
I drew in a sharp breath and pulled his face down against mine to kiss him. As we slowly pulled away, I replied, "I love you, too, Jungkook. I love you, too." I blinked quickly. "Wait. How do you know my real name?"
He just grabbed my hand and led me back down the opposite way we came up. We walked into the room where the rest of the band was.
This time, we ran to the back corner and sat down around a small coffee table. We opened the box of cookies and ate them. Jungkook wouldn't take his eyes off me as I ate.
"What?" I asked with my mouth full. "Is something wrong?"
He smiled. "No. Everything's perfect."
