Jungkook continued to kiss me, passionately, and slowly picked me up and set me down on the kitchen counter. Suddenly, I heard the loud creaking of a door. Jungkook jerked his head away and widened his eyes in panic.
He leaned over my shoulder to see Angie, rubbing her eyes in an effort to wake up, standing outside her door. He pulled me off the counter and ran to the couch. He sat down opposite of Jimin while I walked over to my sister.
"Good morning, Angie." I said.
"Mmmm? Morning." she replied. "What's for breakfast?"
I shrugged and simply answered, "It's whatever you can find."
Angie walked into the kitchen and suddenly spun around to face me.
"Cassie?" she called. "Why didn't you come home last night? Where did you go? I know you weren't here because I didn't hear you snoring from the other side of the wall."
I tried to come up with a reasonably believable explanation.
"Well it was all just a big misunderstanding. I was-"
"With Jungkook?" she asked.
I stood with my mouth open agape, not knowing how to respond.
"It's ok. I know you love him. I guess it's ok if you two are together." She turned back around to grab a bowl from the cabinet.
I was still shook from her quick response. I walked into the living room and laid against Jungkook on the couch.
He kissed the side of my neck and whispered in my ear. "I love you so much, Cassandra."
He sat back up and I adjusted my focus up to him. I signaled with my finger for him to come back in close. He put his ear down to my lips and I said, "I love you, too, Jungkookie. I wanna spend my entire life with you all the time. I will never move away from you."
He smiled and I pulled his head down all the way, so I could kiss him. We relaxed against each other.
Happy. Once and for all. We were purely joyful.
