Chapter 6: Dance major

"You're a twin!?" I say with shock.

"This is Cole, my twin brother, Regina's boyfriend" he says.

I've never been so confused in my entire life.

"Oh Hey, I know you" Cole says to me.

"Well dude, I gotto bounce before Regina starts hunting me down." Cole says and he leaves.

"Woah woah woah. So you were the one who came to get the ball at my house or was it him?" I ask him.

"It was me. And also the day I caught you by the wall, staring." He says just as my cheeks flushes in embarrassment, luckily everyone is busy having their own conversations.

There's two of them. Wow.

Now that Zeke is closer to me, I see his features closely. He has the lightest blue eyes I've ever seen, they have a bit of grey around them, he has freckles but they aren't noticeable until you really search his face. His lips are very pink and luscious. He has a beauty mark on his bottom lip. It's not that dark but you can notice it. He has long eyelashes and dark eyebrows. You can see his jaw tense as he chews on his food.

The bell rings and I come to back to earth, I turn to see that Mila is eyeing me, totally knows that I was checking Zeke out. Right after I told her that I don't have time for boys. And it's true, I'm not interested into dating or going to parties. I guess I just told myself that I'm never gonna do it anytime soon so it's best if I don't hear about it  or grow fond of it.

I walk side by side with Mila as we both make our way towards our lockers. "So Zeke huh" Mila says.

"What are you on about?" I ask her.

"Nothing nothing, I'm just saying." She says. I don't push the question as we reach our lockers and we retrieve our bags just as the hallway gets empty and we go to our separate classes.

I get to art classes and the teacher hasn't arrived yet. I take a seat far away from everyone else just as the class starts filling up.

I bend to take my book just as someone decides to sit next to me.

"This seat is not taken right?" I look up to see one of the twins.

I'm not really sure which one it is. So I look at his eyes. He has blue eyes but I don't see the grey in them. My eyes travel to his lips and I don't see any beauty spot.

"You're not Zeke" I say more to myself.

"Disappointed?" He asks.

"I'm sorry, I was thinking out loud" I say and I turn to face my books.

"What's your name again?" Cole asks me.

"Zanda Hamshire" I reply.

"Hamshire as in you're Donovan Hamshire's daughter?" He asks. Everyone seems to be asking that and I just simply nod.

"Oh that's cool, I'm Cole Robinson, so I see you know Zeke" he says to me.

"No not really, seen him around once or twice." I manage to say.

"About the other day, I'm so sorry about Regina, she can be really mean and intimidating at times but she has a good heart." Cole tries defending his girlfriend.
