Chapter 17: first day of school.

I'm unpacking my stuff in my room and placing my dirty clothes in a pile. We have tomorrow to rest until Monday then it's back to school.

Our vacation was awesome and we really bonded as a family. Today we are helping Corletta and the twins move in.

My life is about to change. Not only am I getting a new mother, but I'm getting two new siblings as well. It's about to get interesting, but I'm looking forward to it. It was a good idea for us to actually go on a vacation to test how it will be once we start living together. The twins already bought their uniform and said their goodbyes as they are now unpacking their clothes in their rooms.

Chasidy's room is right opposite mine, whilst Conner's is next to hers. My room is the biggest compared to every room, but they also have really big rooms. After packing my stuff, I go to Corletta's room and I knock on the door before I open it.

"Hey, need some help?" I ask and she nods.

"You've done a great job so far" I say, admiring her room. She has army green walls with white ceiling and corners painted white. Every room has a walk in closet. She has a study table. Unfortunately the way Conner and Chasidy's rooms are situated, they do not have a view of the beach, instead their balconies just show their neighbours houses and windows. She has a big bed situated in the middle of the room, with white covers on it.

I help her pack up her stuff then we head to Conner's room.

"Hey Conner, you good?" We ask as we enter his room and surprisingly he's done with everything and he's just chilling on his bed. His room is covered with grey paperwall and white ceiling he also has a walk in closet, he has a study table with a laptop on it. He placed a chair out in the balcony. Out of all the rooms, Conner's room looks as if it has been designed by a special designer.

"Omg Conner, this is amazing, you did this?" I ask him as I walk around admiring his creativity.

"Yeah" he says as he's smiling at my amazement.

"You're talented" I say to him and he laughs.

"Conner is really good with his hands." Chasidy says while taking a seat on the edge of his bed.

"Well, are you guys ready to start afresh?" I ask them whilst I'm seated on Conner's chair, near the table.

"Well we don't have a choice so..." Chasidy replies.

"Hey guys, I saw your room and it's amazing but as always, Conner wins, we are gonna head out for a while, there's money on the island, order whatever you like and don't wait up for us. Love you" she says and she walks out.

We've been watching Netflix for a while now while eating pizza and we finally decided to call it a night.

The next day

Today is Sunday and I'm feeling lazy as always but I know I have to prepare a lot of things today. Corletta booked an appointment at the saloon for us.

I get up and do my morning routines. I then go down for breakfast.

"So we've set the date for the wedding, and it's in 2 months from now" Corletta says all excited.

After breakfast, I went to go bath and then we went to the hair saloon. We got our nails done. Then we had our hair washed and cut just a little bit.

Afterwards we decided to do some shopping just for the sake of it.

Then finally we had to go back home.

When we got home, Corletta started making dinner for all of us as we went up to our rooms to freshen up for dinner. Conner was watching t.v. and dad was out but would be back anytime now.
