Chapter 5: if the whole school wasn't looking, they definitely are now.

Today is Tuesday and I cannot wait for the weekend. It's my second day at a normal school and I'm already exhausted.

I get up before my dad has to come wake me up again

I take a shower this time and I get to my room after showering as I wear my uniform and put a bit of make up.

I straighten my unruly curls and let my long brown hair fall on my shoulders. I grab my school bag as I go downstairs to eat.

I greet my dad and we both have breakfast.

"So since you passed your drivers test and you have a license, I'm getting you your own car" my dad says making me choke.

"Seriously dad?" I ask him

"Yeah, you earned it, it would be nice for you to drive yourself to school and back everyday" he says. So he's getting me a car so that I can only drive to school , he never said anything about me driving myself wherever I want.

We are driving in the car and we get to my school. My dad stops the car and I give him a goodbye kiss.

"Have a good day" he says to me.

"Love you!" He yells.

"Love You!" I yell back.

He drives off and I make my way inside. I need to head to the admin so that they can give me a locker.

"Good Morning Zanda, here for your locker?" Miriam asks me.

"Morning, yes please" I reply.

"Well you can take locker 556, pick your own code and you're good to go" she smiles at me.

"Thank you Miriam" I say as I walk out.

"No problem sweety" she replies.

I walk to the lockers as the hallway gets filled with students. I get to my locker and I do what needs to be done. I take my books out. Finally my bag is going to be lighter.

The bell rings indicating first period.

I'm not looking forward to this day. I hope I do not bump into any plastics. I'm not in the mood for interrogation today. I just want to have a peaceful day, where nobody approaches me and tries to have a conversation with me.

I get to my first class and I sit at the seat in the middle just as the teacher walks in and starts on the topic. She explains what we will be busy with this week and assignments that are needed next week.

After having so much work and a lot of classes , it is finally lunch time. I've been traveling to classes, I never thought they'd end. I immediately go to my locker and I decide that I'm gonna go back to the bleachers and eat my lunch in peace again. I go to my locker as I put my school bag and I grab my lunch bag. I shut my locker door as I come face to face with Mila.

"Hey, I'm so glad I found you, I'm starving, let's go have lunch." Mila says as she drags me to the cafeteria. She is so bubbly and kind. She loves bright colours, she just makes you feel happy when she smiles and she's so bubbly.

We enter the caf and we head to the back of the caf as we take our seats and I take out my lunch bag and I eat my ham and cheese sandwich that my dad put extra sauce in.
