Chapter 27: are we a thing?

Its been 6 months since I moved in Port Shepstone with my dad.  4 months since I met my new family and it's been 3 months since Zeke and i started whatever it is that's going on between us.

Corletta is so obsessed with Zeke and I being together. The wedding is in a month and she is just all over the place.

I walk passed Chasidy's room and the door is wide open as I see her sitting on her bed holding a phone and just smiling continuously.

I walk in her room and I stand by the door.

"Who is He?" I ask her while startling her and she looks at me.

"Who is who?" She asks me.

"Don't act all stupid with me. Who's this boy driving you crazy like this?" I ask her.

"There's no boy. I just saw a funny meme." She says and she goes back to looking at her phone.

"Okayyyy. I'll find out" I say to her.

"Anyways, I'm gonna head out. Zeke will be here in 10 minutes." I say to her and she smiles at me then makes kissing noises.

"Grow up!" I yell at her as I make my way towards my room.

I open my closet looking for something to wear.

I end up choosing a tight short off-shoulder grey dress and a denim jacket. With my black and white old skool vans.

I don't tie my hair. So instead I let it fall over my shoulders.

I apply some perfume just as the doorbell rings and I see Chasidy run passed my room, going downstairs. Just as I hear Corletta talking to Zeke down stairs. I know it's Zeke because I just heard him laugh and he has a sexy laugh.

I grab my cute bunny bag then I apply some perfume and check if my make up is all good then I close my door and make my way downstairs.

It's a Saturday but my dad went out with some of his friends to go play golf at a country club or something.

I walk down the stairs and I get to the living room to find Zeke sitting on the couch holding his phone. He sees me and his eyes brighten he gives me his award winning smile as he gets up to embrace me in a hug.

"I missed you" he says as he has his face on my neck and his breath tickles me.

"I was with you the whole day yesterday." I say to him.

"Yeah. But I still missed you when I woke up and you weren't there. You smell good." He whines like a baby and I can't help but smile and giggle.

"Okay you two." Corletta says just as Zeke turns to face her but still keeping his hand on my waist.

"Zeke, I've been meaning to ask you something." Corletta says just as Chasidy appears.

"Go ahead Mrs H" Zeke says.

"I want you to come to my wedding as Zanda's date." She says that and my eyes widen. The same time Zeke's eyes widen.

"What about dad?" I ask her.

"Don't worry about him honey" she says and we all turn to look at Zeke.

"Well I wouldn't want any other guy entertaining my lady but me so I'd love to Mrs H" Zeke says while smiling down at me and I blush so I look away.

"Okay. We need to get going" I say just as Zeke grabs my hand and pulls me out of the door, towards his car.

He opens the door for me and we start driving to Lord knows where.
