Chapter 23: first date

"You... have a lot of explaining to do" Chasidy says as I walk past her.

I go up to my room. I open my room and I'm all smiles as I sit on my bed.

"Look at you all smiles and shit" Chasidy says but she scares me in the process.

"Get out Chas!" I yell at her and she laughs and gets in the room and shuts the door.

"I have to take a shower" I say as I get up to leave but she pulls me back down and says.

"No you don't. Tell me everything." She says.

"There's nothing to tell Chas" I say to her.

"Did my forbidden fruit get popped?" She asks and I widen my eyes.

"We didn't have sex... gosh Chas. We just made out that's it." I say to her with my hands on my face.

"You're blushing so bad... how was it?" She asks me.

"It was amazing Chas... I really like this guy." I say to her.

"Ooooooh... I'm so excited. I'm definitely shipping the 'Z' ship. You guys are gonna get married and have a beautiful child that you'll name Chasidy. Everyone will be so happy." Chasidy says and I just look at her then I laugh.

"Ok, snap out of it. I'm going to shower now." I say to her as I get up and I go to the bathroom.

Today is a Saturday and I'm seated in the backyard, wearing my black, super short denim shorts with a white shirt with the words boy crazy on it. I tucked it in my pants. I wore my flip flops but I'm seated by the pool area on the beach chair as I read a book with my passion fruit on the table.

"Didn't think you were the fantasy readers type." Someone says as I look around and I see Zeke by the wall of his house. Probably standing on the chair.

"What makes you so sure that this is a fantasy book?" I ask him.

"You're reading The notebook. C'mon" he says and I just laugh.

"The notebook is a really awesome book and you should read it some time too." I say to him as I take a sip of my passion fruit.

"Nah, too cliche... obviously the the rich girl will fall for the poor guy but we all know there will be problems because her parents already have someone they want her to marry and it obviously is a rich guy. We all know the ending. Poor guy and rich girl are meant to be together. Oh and the house, we all knew it was gonna work out." He explains.

"Well you know so much detail, meaning that you've read the book before." I say to him and he runs his hand through his curls.

"Ofcoz I've read it." He says.

"And?" I ask him

"Okay, it was amazing." He says and I giggle as I rub my hands together.

"Omg I know right. So romantic." I say and he just looks at me then he smiles.

"What are you doing today?" He asks.

"Well, sitting here and reading this book, then I'm gonna go binge watch some series til I fall asleep." I say to him.

"Great, then I guess I'll pick you at up 4." He says to me.

"Why, where are we going?" I ask him.
