Chapter 18: I called you stupid

After disappearing from that scandal with Regina. I'm with Chasidy by her locker as she packs away her stuff.

"Gosh I hope not every girl is like her in this school, or I swear, I will get kicked out by the end of this week" she says and I just laugh.

"What's her name anyways?" Chasidy asks.

"Regina" I say to her. Then suddenly I remember information that i know I need to tell Chasidy, but is it in my place to tell. She'll find out eventually so why not tell her now.

"I need to tell you something" I say to Chasidy. She drops everything and eyes me.

"Okayyyy, what's up?" She asks casually.

"ReginaisactuallydatingCole" I mumble.

"Zanda, I don't know what you're saying, speak up" she says to me.

"Regina and Cole are together, as in together together" I say to her and she laughs, I crunch my eyebrows in confusion.

"Why are you laughing?" I ask her.

"Cole and I were a one time thing, we both needed it and so we did what we had to do, no strings or feelings involved, I don't necessarily care about whoever he is seeing, he's the cheating scumbag, I don't care about anything. It's just a game for me." She says and I just chew on my lip. Something I do when I don't know what to say.

"Oh, wow, ok" is all I say and she just laughs then rolls her head.

I'm standing next to Chasidy as she is still packing her stuff in her locker. Suddenly I start looking around the hallway, to see if I can spot a certain someone because I can feel the back of my hair standing up, so I know he's near.

I feel cold hard hands covering my eyes.

"Guess who?" The sexy voice whispers in my ear, warm, minty breath hitting my skin, immediately causing goosebumps to form on my skin. I don't need to see to know who it is. He smells like ocean fragrance, which is my second favourite scent. I can feel the cold rings on his fingers on my eyes.

"Zeke, stop being childish" I say to him and he lets go.

"How'd you know it was me?" He asks as he's smiling at me.

"Lucky guess" I say to him.

"Bullshit" he replies.

"Hey Chas" he says to her and she waves at him with a smile.

"So bear, what are you guys up to on Friday night?" He asks me, using that cute nickname again.

"What's happening on Friday?" I ask him.

"Well hosting a party, my crib" he says.

"We just returned to school, why would you need to have a party so early?" I ask him.

"Well, we haven't seen each other in so long, so the party is mostly like a welcome back party" he explains and I nod.

"Oh we are definitely coming" Chasidy says.

"Chas, I'm not sure if you've met Donovan Hamshire..." I say

"Relax Zee, I overhead mom and Don talk about him going away on Thursday evening and returning on Sunday, something about business is in crisis" Chasidy says and for some reason I'm excited to go to a party.

"Well, what do you say bear?" Zeke asks me and I think about it for a second before I nod. Chasidy squeaks besides me then she covers it up with a cough. I laugh at her silliness.
