Belle's POV
"Babe kailan ba babalik dito si Kurt?" Tanong ni mom sa akin habang kumakain kami ng almusal.
I shot an eyebrow at her.
"Why?" I asked back.
Mom shrugged " Nothing. Just asking. I was wondering if he could come over at dinner and maybe he could bring his friends. Napag-alaman ko kasi na kapitbahay lang pala natin siya." Mahabang paliwanag ni mom.
"Mom, I thought I am grounded. No boys. No friend visitors?" I asked mom in confusion because sa pagkakaalala ko, hindi pa tapos ang grounded jurva ekek ko.
What happened?
"I know sweetie pero hindi naman ikaw ang magpapapunta sa kanila dito, I will invite them personally." She said with a smile.
I sighed." Mom, what are you up to this time?"
She raised the fork with bacon in it and swing it like beating on a flag ceremony "I said nothing. Mali bang makilala ko ang mga taong nakapaligid sa anak ko? I just wanted to be cautious this time babe. I know naging pabaya akong ina noong una that's why I am making it up to you."
I know mom, but its not your fault!
Sabi ko sa isipan ko.
"Fine! But mom please no reminiscing okay? Especially those hideous baby pictures of mine." I plead. Knowing her, palagi niyang pinapakita sa mga bisita ang mga pictures ko. Ugh!
" oww, now you gave me an idea babe" mom grinned and winked.
"Mom!" I whined.
"Alright! No baby pictures" she stood up ang placed her plate on the sink.
"Uhm, mom can I invite my friends too" I asked her nervously.
She turned around and stared at me.
"You have friends?" She asked.
I looked down on my plate "Yeah, I know that I am grounded but isn't it unfair to my friends that you're inviting those people who were mere stranger to us. And they're not my friends. This friends I am talking about is my friends, you know the one who you meet at school, have a proper greetings and eat lunch together then wave goodbye after class. Yeah, they were my f-friends"
I rambled. I looked up at mom and saw her smiling.
"What?"
"Babe, of course you can invite them. I'm happy that you already made friends. Tell them tomorrow evening, 7 pm. Okay?" Mom said.
"Really? Yes thanks mom" my face lit up with amazement.
"Shooo now, you'll be gonna late on class kitty" pagtataboy sa akin ni mom.
"Mom, hindi ako pusa" I whined while standing up on my chair and gathering my things.
"I know, dahil kitty'ng (kuting) kita." Pick up line ni mom.
I walked towards her and kissed her cheeks. " Mom, pick up lines doesn't suit you."
"Oh tell me about it kitty" pahabol ni mom.
"Bye mom"
With a smile on my face I headed on my school.
