*One Day Before Moonlight Jam*

Jenna P.O.V

I was helping the student council set up the stage in the football field. Joelle, Rydel, and Katie were in student council so it was boring for me.

“So when does this plan start?” Katie asked. “Tomorrow but for right now we need to-“

“Hello losers.” Jocelyn said as she interrupted me. “What do you want?” I said rudely. “Oh nothing I just wanted you guys to know that I want a yellow spot light for my performance.” She said. “And I care because..” I said.

“You care because if you don’t do as I say I’ll just tell Principal Goodwin that you were making out with Rocky instead of working.” She snickered. “What ever. Just get out of my face.” I said.

“Oh and just so you know Rydel, Kali and I will be the ones who win the record deal and 3 million dollars.” She glared. “Oh I’m so sure.” Rydel said back. “Well you better be because don’t you remember? You and your stupid brother wrote us this song. So we are going to win! Toodles!” Jocelyn said.

“You wrote her a song?” Joelle asked. “She forced me into it.” Rydel said. “But it doesn’t matter because we have a plan that will destroy Jocelyn.” I said. “Your Right! But we need o finish setting up the stage.” Joelle said.

We all nodded in agreement and got back to work.

Melody P.O.V

I was sitting at my computer desk trying to write a song in my notebook. The jam is tomorrow and I still have no idea what to sing.

“Melody?” My dad said through the door. “What.” “We need to talk.” He said. He unlocked my door and entered the room/ “Listen I’m sorry about how I acted.” He said. “Dad youd on’t understand. Music is my passion I need to sing and-“

“Melody we’ve already talked about this. I will not tolerate music in this house!” He yelled. “You know what dad just because mom died and you try to forget about her doesn’t meant that I have to!” I yelled back.

“Your mother has nothing to do with this!” He yelled. “Are you sure about that Dad? Because ever time a bring up something about music you never want to here about it!” I shouted. “Melody that is enough!”

“No Dad it isn’t enough! I mean have you ever even tried to read any of my songs! You knew that from the day I was born that I was going to have some kind of musical talent! That’s why you and mom named me! My name is Melody for a reason and you know why!” I screamed.

He was silent for a while. “Dad, you can’t take music away from me. Don’t you think mom would be proud of me?” I said.

“Your not performing and that’s final. I don’t want to here anything about music ever again.” He stormed out of my room and slammed his door.

I walked towards my desk and picked up my notebook and pen. My dad is wrong about music. And I’ll prove it to him.

I started to write lyrics down and I finally figured everything out. Tomorrow is everything for me is going to change.

Ainsley P.O.V

I got everything together for tomorrow. Everything was in it’s rightful place. Everything is going to change tomorrow. Secrets will be out and lies will be no longer hidden.
