I was hoping to wake up next to Justin and make him breakfast in bed. Well apparently, that didn't happen, he wasn't there. I picked up my phone and saw his message. I remembered him telling me he was spending time with his mom. I hopped in the shower washing the negative thoughts away. Not about Justin, I'm mostly overthinking everything. I got out the shower brushing my teeth, brushing the tangles out of my hair. I got dressed and went downstairs hearing a knock on the door along with the doorbell ringing.

"What took you so long to answer? I was waiting for twenty seconds." Kathy bitched coming inside.

"Well sorry, I was taking a shower. What's up?"

"You forgot? We're spending time together today. I got a lot of things planned for us. We are getting our nails and toes done, picking you out an outfit for tonight. You know Justin's taking you out to dinner, but anywho, we need to find you something extravagant. Something that'll give him the sweats and a bulge just by looking at you." She says, I chuckled rolling my eyes.

"Um. Kathy, I doubt we have sex tonight. Depends on what mood I'm in. He proposed last night, and I said yes." I said, she covers her mouth, beginning to laugh jumping up and down in excitement.

"Bitch, why you didn't call me or text me? Do you know how huge this is? Getting married to the most famous, hot guy ever? Are you sure you're up for the pressure? Fans? Paparazzi? Him leaving unexpectedly? No more privacy? You ready for all of that?" She asks. All of a sudden, I started thinking. She was right; I'm having second thoughts now, who am I kidding just to think it's just marriage. But I'm getting married to a celebrity. I turned around and walked over towards the couch taking a seat. "Oh, Adrian I'm sorry, if I knew you would've been a little sick by it, I wouldn't have said anything. Forget what I said. At least you're both happy, yeah? Have you been taking your pills?"

"No. Not lately. I'm afraid that if I go to New York, I may not even think about marriage. I never thought about getting married or having kids it was always about being successful, and focusing on my goals."

"Well you never know what life throws at you, Justin's a nice guy, protective too, he's so in love with you I've always noticed that. I'm afraid if you two decide to break up he will never get over it, he'll go back to drinking and doing dumb shit. You fixed him."

"Kathy please, it's not a woman's responsibility to fix a guy. Graduation is almost here, and he's off to his career again. Why didn't I think this through?"

"I guess you weren't paying attention to that. Come on, let's go and not think about that." She says grabbing my hand; we left the house going to the nail salon. She looks over at me, examining my face. "Are you still thinking about what I said?"

"Um...no I'm okay."

"Liar, forget what I said. I was just talking. Anyways, instead of going to college here. I got an opportunity in Europe, and I'm planning on taking it. You'll be in New York supposedly, and we're going to go our separate ways. It's only a five-month program. Now that I think about it, we won't see each other after graduation. It's funny that you're the only reason I moved to California. I begged and pleaded my parents to move here, you're my best friend, and I wasn't going to let distance fuck that up." She says laughing to keep herself from crying.

"We will always be best friends. You stuck by me, even when I was a bitch in Florida. I love you, Kathy."

"I love you too Adrian." She says cleaning her face. "I'm sorry I didn't do anything when Jason did that to you."
